in my life I seem to encounter waves of change… what I mean is, as I grow and my life's circumstances change around me, I seem to be constantly trying to redefine who I am. Switching careers, going through the phases of entering and then ending a marriage, moving, becoming a mom… all these events present challenges to maintaining a sense of individuality. I'm a little bit shy and try to cover it up by being silly.I play the flute, sometimes to get my daughters to eat their dinner but sometimes I just play it because I love playing. I belong to a flute choir, and we perform about once a month. I've played since I was really young, maybe third grade, and I still enjoy it every time I pick it up. As an acupuncturist, I attempt to live a healthy lifestyle(key word is attempt...doesn't always happen) by going to the gym and/or running ***times per week and cooking simple, healthy meals. I like to go out and have fun but am very happy spending time enjoying the outdoors, hiking, running or walking or hanging indoors playing games or watching a movie cuddled on the couch. I also enjoy riding horses, kayaking (I've only been once but I loved it), I am a great passenger on the back of a motorcycle (I even come equipped with my own helmet and chaps), rock climbing (I haven't been in a while) or simply plopping down in a chair with a good book out in the sun...the training has been intense but I am really excited for the race! I typically enjoy rock music but I think my tastes are mellowing a bit(don't be fooled though...the rocker will always live in me!). I attempt to live positively so I make every effort to appreciate what I have and not complain about what I do not have or cannot change and hope to find those qualities in a mate. I am open-minded and above all, I love to laugh(even if it's at my own expense). I am told that I have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor so if you offend easily, I might not be your cup of tea. I am looking for someone who has similar interests, doesn't carry baggage around with them and looks at the glass as half full as opposed to half empty. I'm looking for someone who understands that relationships take two and that communication is vital to the success of that relationship. I am also looking for someone I am wildly attracted to and who is wildly attracted to me in return!A few of my favorite things: my morning coffee, my cats(I have 2 but am in no way a "crazy cat lady"...I promise!!), my home, my family and friends, passion/connection/affection, lip balm, my job (these are in no special order but getting in the way of my morning coffee might leave you without limbs...not that I am a grumpy morning person but b/c I really do love my coffee!). I think a first date when you don't know someone should be something simple like coffee or a drink with the possibility of dinner/food. I am back again. I thought I found a wonderful man on here but we couldn't make it long term. So, I am trying again.I am a single mom of 4 girls and 1 boy( only the youngest three are in the house...oldest are married and happy). I work for Rite Aid and was promoted to shift supervisor 7 months ago. I enjoy my job and love my customers.I am very talkative and I love to sing. I have recently rediscovered my love for bowling and am currently bowling in a Sunday night league. I am not as good as my children, but I have fun.I love animals and own several. After 5 babies, my hips are just too big! If you are looking for the perfect 10 body, I am not her. I have my curves and I am planning on keeping them., just want to get down to a healthier weight. I take pride in my appearance and will continue to do so. Whatever we mutually decide to go with. It can be anything from a face to face meeting in a coffee shop to a game of bowling.
