Note: brief summaries appear at the beginning of several sections for convenience. They form part of, but do not replace, the text of each section. Read each section in its entirety.

1. INTRODUCTION

By accessing or using Meetville's Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, including our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy. Read them carefully before you create an account.

Welcome to Meetville, a service for single adults to meet one another online.

This is a legal agreement ("Agreement" or "Terms") between you and Sequoia Network, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Meetville," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating the Meetville platform at meetville.com. Together you and Meetville may be referred to as the "Parties" or separately as a "Party."

This Agreement applies to your access to and use of the meetville.com website, including its mobile and web versions (the "Website"), our mobile applications including iOS and Android applications (the "Applications"), and registration for or use of any services provided by us through those platforms (collectively, the "Service" or "Services"). This Agreement applies to anyone who accesses or uses our Services, regardless of registration or subscription status.

Your access to and use of our Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy, and to any terms disclosed to and accepted by you when you purchase additional features or services ("Additional Terms Upon Purchase"), all of which are incorporated into this Agreement by reference. The Acceptable Use Policy sets out in detail the conduct and content that are prohibited on the Services; it forms an integral part of this Agreement, and a violation of it is a violation of these Terms. If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement, do not access or use our Services.

Changes to these Terms. These Terms may change from time to time. Notice of any material change will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We may notify you of a change via email, in-app notification, or other means; however, you are responsible for regularly checking this page for changes. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, your continued access to or use of our Services after the effective date constitutes your consent to the change. If you do not accept a change, you must stop accessing and using our Services immediately. Changes will not be applied retroactively without your consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any material change to the Limitation of Liability in Section 14 or the Dispute Resolution provisions in Section 15, or where otherwise required by law, will require your affirmative acceptance.

Subscribing Members. If you are a subscribing Member at the time of a change, the then-existing Agreement will continue to govern your subscription until you renew it. Continuing your subscription after the change constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

Mandatory features. We reserve the right to introduce mandatory features to our Services at any time, including features designed to enhance functionality, security, safety, or the overall user experience. If you do not wish to engage with a mandatory feature, you may lose access to your account or be required to terminate your account as set forth in Section 9.

Electronic form. You consent to receive this Agreement and all notices in electronic form, through the Services and by email. To withdraw this consent, you must cease using the Services and terminate your account. Please print or save a copy of this Agreement for your records.

2. ACCOUNT ELIGIBILITY; YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Before you create an account, make sure you are eligible. This Section also covers your core responsibilities.

2a. Eligibility

You are not authorized to create an account or use the Services unless all of the following are true, and by using our Services you represent and warrant that:

  • You are an individual (not a body corporate, partnership, or other business entity) at least 18 years old, or older where the age of majority in your jurisdiction is higher;
  • You are legally qualified to enter into a binding contract with Meetville;
  • You are single, or separated from your spouse;
  • You are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country;
  • You are not on any list of individuals prohibited from conducting business with the United States (for example, the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals), nor do you face any similar prohibition;
  • You are not prohibited by law from using our Services;
  • You have not committed, been convicted of, or pled no contest to any felony, or to any crime involving violence, the threat of violence, fraud, or sexual misconduct;
  • You are not required to register as a sex offender with any state, federal, or local sex offender registry;
  • You do not have any other active account on our Services; and
  • You have not previously been removed from our Services, unless you have our express written permission to create a new account.

If at any time you cease to meet these requirements, all authorization to access our Services or systems is automatically revoked, you must immediately delete your account, and we retain the right to delete your account and remove your access without warning in our sole discretion.

Use of the Services may be prohibited or restricted in certain countries. If you use the Services from outside the United States, you are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations of the territory from which you access or use them.

2b. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Comply with these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, and check them from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes;
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, and regulatory requirements;
  • Use the latest version of the Website and/or Applications;
  • Treat other users in a courteous and respectful manner, both on and off our Services;

  • Maintain a strong password and take reasonable measures to protect the security of your account and login information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password, and you are solely responsible for all activity occurring under them. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] of any disclosure or unauthorized use of your credentials or any other breach of security, and to log out of your account at the end of each session on a shared device.

2c. Prohibited Conduct and Content

Prohibited conduct and prohibited content are set out in full in the Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference. Without limiting that policy, you agree that you will not:

  • Misrepresent your identity, age, employment, qualifications, or affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, assault, defame, harm, or otherwise mistreat any person;
  • Post or share Prohibited Content as defined in the Acceptable Use Policy;
  • Solicit money or other items of value from another user, whether as a gift, loan, investment, or other form of compensation;
  • Solicit passwords or personal identifying information from other users for commercial or unlawful purposes, or disseminate another person's personal information without their permission;
  • Use the Services in relation to fraud, a pyramid scheme, money laundering, or similar practice;
  • Use another user's account, share your account with another person, or maintain more than one account;
  • Use the Services for any commercial purpose, including advertising, soliciting users to buy or sell products or services, recruiting, or organizing commercial social functions;
  • Use any robot, crawler, spider, scraper, proxy, or other automatic or manual device, method, or process to access, retrieve, index, or data-mine our Services or their contents, or to circumvent their navigational structure or presentation;
  • Use or develop any third-party application or service that interacts with our Services or Member Content without our written consent, including artificial intelligence or machine learning systems;
  • Use, access, or publish any Meetville application programming interface without our written consent;
  • Copy, modify, transmit, distribute, or create derivative works from any Member Content, Our Content, or other intellectual property accessible through our Services without our prior written consent;
  • Express or imply that any statement you make is endorsed by Meetville without our prior written consent;
  • Upload viruses or malicious code, or otherwise compromise the security of our Services;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our Services or any system or network, except as expressly permitted under Section 3.5 of the Acceptable Use Policy;
  • Forge headers or manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of information transmitted through our Services;
  • Frame or mirror any part of our Services without our prior written authorization;
  • Use meta tags or code containing any reference to Meetville to direct any person to another website for any purpose;
  • Modify, adapt, sublicense, translate, sell, reverse engineer, decipher, decompile, or otherwise disassemble any portion of our Services, or cause others to do so;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or the servers or networks connected to them;
  • Create a new account after we suspend or terminate your account, unless you receive our express written permission; or
  • Submit a report about a member's behavior or content that is false, misleading, or manifestly unfounded, or otherwise abuse our reporting or appeals systems.

The license granted to you under these Terms, and any authorization to access the Services, is automatically revoked in the event that you do any of the above.

3. CONTENT

Understand your rights and responsibilities regarding content, including anything you post. You are expressly prohibited from posting inappropriate content.

While using our Services you may have access to: (i) content that you upload, provide, or share, even if suggested by our Services ("Your Content"); (ii) content that other users upload or provide ("Member Content"); and (iii) content that Meetville provides on and through our Services ("Our Content"). In this Agreement, "content" includes all text, images, video, audio, and other material on our Services, including information on user profiles and in direct messages between users.

From time to time, Meetville may use or offer software-enabled technology utilizing artificial intelligence or machine learning ("AI Technology") as part of the Services. You are solely responsible for any content generated using such AI Technology that you create, upload, or share, and such content forms part of Your Content.

3a. Your Content

You are responsible for Your Content. Don't share anything you wouldn't want others to see, that would violate this Agreement, or that may expose you or us to legal liability.

You are solely responsible and liable for Your Content, and you agree to indemnify, defend, release, and hold us harmless from any claims made in connection with it.

You represent and warrant that the information you provide to us or to any other user is accurate, including information submitted through third-party sources, and that you will update your account information as necessary to ensure its accuracy.

The content on your profile should be relevant to the intended use of our Services. You may not upload any Prohibited Content, and your content must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy.

You may not display personal contact, banking, or peer-to-peer payment information in areas of your profile visible to other users — including surnames, home addresses or postcodes, telephone numbers, email addresses, URLs, credit or debit card details, peer-to-peer payment usernames, or other banking details, whether relating to you or to any other person. If you choose to reveal personal information about yourself to other users, you do so at your own risk, and we strongly encourage caution.

Your profile will be visible to other people around the world. Be sure you are comfortable sharing Your Content before you post it. You acknowledge and agree that Your Content may be viewed by other users and that, notwithstanding these Terms, other users may share Your Content with third parties.

By uploading Your Content, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and licenses to do so, and you automatically grant us a license to use Your Content as provided in Section 7.

You understand and agree that we may analyze, access, store, and use Your Content, including messages and other communications, to operate, monitor, develop, personalize, moderate, and improve our Services, including through machine learning and other automated technologies, in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

You understand and agree that we may monitor or review Your Content, and that we have the right to remove, delete, edit, limit, block, or prevent access to any of Your Content at any time in our sole discretion. If Your Content is prohibited under the laws of any jurisdiction where our Services are available, we may remove it even if it is not illegal in your location. You further understand that we have no obligation to display or review Your Content.

Photograph standards. We reserve the right to reject or re-crop photographs in order to maintain service quality. Photographs appear on the Services after review. Photographs will be rejected where they: occupy less than a substantial portion of the allotted space, or are blurred or unclear; are group photographs where no clear individual photograph of you has been uploaded; contain nudity, see-through clothing, or sexual content; consist of drawings, caricatures, illustrations, copyrighted images, or images of celebrities; contain identifying information such as licence plates, email or web addresses, or visible street numbers; depict illegal acts or violence; are not oriented upright; or depict a minor unaccompanied by an adult. Photograph standards are supplemented by the content rules in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Message limits. We may limit the number of messages a Member may send to other Members in any 24-hour period to a number we deem appropriate in our sole discretion, including for anti-spam and safety purposes.

3b. Member Content

While you will have access to Member Content, it is not yours, and you may not copy or use it for any purpose except as contemplated by these Terms.

Member Content belongs to the user who posted it and is stored on our servers and displayed at that user's direction.

You should always carefully review and independently verify Member Content for accuracy. Other users may use tools, including AI Technology, to generate or enhance their content. Member Content may include biased, incorrect, harmful, offensive, or misleading information. Other users are responsible for their Member Content and for any decisions made, actions taken, or failures to act based on it. Meetville expressly disclaims any responsibility for Member Content.

You have no rights in relation to Member Content and, unless expressly authorized by us, you may use it only to the extent consistent with our Services' purpose of allowing you to communicate with and meet other users. You may not copy Member Content or use it for commercial purposes, to spam, to harass, or to make unlawful threats. We reserve the right to terminate your account if you misuse Member Content.

3c. Our Content

Meetville owns or licenses all other content on our Services.

As between you and Meetville, all other text, content, graphics, user interfaces, trademarks, logos, sounds, artwork, images, compatibility and matching systems, and other intellectual property appearing on or incorporated into our Services is owned, controlled, or licensed by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights. All right, title, and interest in and to Our Content remains with us at all times. We grant you a limited license to access and use Our Content as provided in Section 6, and reserve all other rights.

4. INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT AND MISCONDUCT; REPORTING

Meetville does not tolerate inappropriate content or behavior on our Services.

We are committed to maintaining a respectful community, and we do not tolerate inappropriate content or misconduct, whether occurring on or off our Services. We encourage you to report inappropriate Member Content or misconduct by other users through the reporting mechanism available on each profile and in the messaging experience, or by emailing [email protected].

Emergency situations: If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Meetville is not an emergency service.

As set out in our Privacy Policy, we may take action if we believe you have violated these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, including banning you from our Services and preventing you from creating new accounts. You understand and agree that we may not share information with you regarding your account, including the reason for a ban, where doing so would potentially impair the safety or privacy of our other users, compromise an investigation, or where we are prohibited by law from disclosing it.

We use a combination of automated tools and human reviewers to enforce our content rules, including technology that proactively detects and removes certain categories of prohibited material. Our systems and processes prioritize the detection and removal of the most serious and harmful violations — including child sexual exploitation material, credible threats of violence, non-consensual intimate imagery, and terrorist content — even where such content is rare.

Violations may result in consequences ranging from a warning for a less serious infraction to a permanent ban for serious or repeated violations. Manifestly illegal and harmful content, such as child sexual exploitation material or terrorist content, will result in a ban. We report suspected child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by applicable law.

Appeals. If you believe Your Content was removed or your account was actioned in error, you may submit an appeal as set out in Section 12 of the Acceptable Use Policy. Where an enforcement decision was made by automated means and significantly affects you, you may request human review.

Abuse of reporting. Manifestly unfounded reports may result in enforcement action against the reporter. In assessing misuse, we consider evidence that a report was motivated by bias or hatred — for example, based on protected characteristics such as race, sexual orientation, or gender identity — or other malicious intent. Repeated submission of manifestly unfounded reports will result in a ban.

Member Content is subject to Sections 512(c) and 512(d) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. To submit a complaint regarding Member Content that may constitute intellectual property infringement, see Section 12.

5. PRIVACY

Privacy is important to us. We have separate policies about it that you agree to read.

For information about how Meetville collects, uses, and shares your personal data, please read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By using our Services, you agree that we may use your personal data in accordance with those policies.

6. RIGHTS YOU ARE GRANTED BY MEETVILLE

Meetville grants you the right to use and enjoy our Services, subject to these Terms.

For as long as you comply with these Terms, Meetville grants you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use our Services for purposes intended by Meetville and permitted by these Terms and applicable law. This license and any authorization to access the Services are automatically revoked if you fail to comply with these Terms.

7. RIGHTS YOU GRANT MEETVILLE

You own the content you provide to Meetville, but you also grant us the right to use it as provided in this Agreement.

By creating an account, you grant Meetville a worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free right and license to host, store, use, copy, display, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, translate, modify, reformat, incorporate into other works, and distribute Your Content, including any information you authorize us to access from third-party sources, in whole or in part, in any format or medium now known or later developed, for the purpose of operating, providing, promoting, and improving the Services.

You further grant Meetville a worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free right and license to (a) collect and use Your Content to the extent necessary to perform our obligations and exercise our rights under this Agreement; and (b) train, develop, adapt, modify, enhance, and improve the Services and related products and services, including through the use of AI Technology. You acknowledge that our Services may "learn" and improve based on information received and generated, including Your Content, and cannot thereafter "unlearn."

Meetville's license to Your Content is non-exclusive, except that it shall be exclusive with respect to derivative works created through use of our Services, including through our use of AI Technology. For example, Meetville would have an exclusive license to screenshots of our Services that include Your Content.

Duration. The license granted in this Section continues for as long as you maintain an account, and survives thereafter only to the extent necessary for us to operate the Services, comply with legal obligations, exercise or defend legal claims, or in respect of copies retained under the retention provisions of our Privacy Policy. Deleting Your Content or your account terminates this license prospectively, subject to those exceptions and to content you have shared directly with other users.

Enforcement on your behalf. So that Meetville can prevent the use of Your Content outside our Services, you authorize us to act on your behalf with respect to infringing uses of Your Content taken from our Services by other users or third parties. This expressly includes the authority, but not the obligation, to send notices pursuant to 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) (DMCA Takedown Notices) on your behalf. Meetville is not obligated to take any action regarding the use of Your Content by other users or third parties.

Data protection rights preserved. Meetville's license to Your Content is subject to your rights under applicable law, including personal data protection law to the extent the content contains personal information as defined by that law. Nothing in this Section limits your rights under our Privacy Policy.

Advertising and feedback. In consideration for allowing you to use our Services, you agree that we and our third-party partners may place advertising on our Services. By submitting suggestions or feedback regarding our Services, you agree that we may use and share such feedback for any purpose without compensating you.

Access and disclosure. You agree that Meetville may access, preserve, and disclose your account information, including Your Content, if required to do so by law or upon a good-faith belief that such access, preservation, or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with legal process; (ii) enforce these Terms; (iii) respond to claims that content violates the rights of third parties; (iv) respond to your requests for customer service; (v) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the Company or any other person; (vi) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud, or other wrongdoing; or (vii) comply with the data rights requests of other users.

8. PURCHASES AND AUTOMATICALLY RENEWING SUBSCRIPTIONS

You may purchase features and services from Meetville. If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew — and you will be charged — until you cancel.

8a. General

Registration as a Member is free. As a free Member you may use some, but not all, features of the Services. To access additional features, including the ability to communicate with other Members, you must become a paying subscriber.

A Member profile, whether or not subscribed, may remain posted on the Services even if that Member is not actively using them. You acknowledge that although a Member's profile may be viewable, you may not be able to communicate with that Member if they are not actively using the Services.

Meetville may offer features and services for purchase through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other external services authorized by us (each an "External Service," and any purchase made thereon an "External Service Purchase"). We may also offer features and services for purchase via credit card, PayPal, or other payment processors on the Website or within the Applications ("Internal Purchases").

Because our Services may be used without a subscription, canceling your subscription does not remove your profile from our Services. To fully terminate your membership you must delete your account as set out in Section 9.

Meetville operates a global business, and pricing varies based on a number of factors. We frequently offer promotional rates that may vary by region, subscription length, past purchases, account activity, and other factors. We also regularly test new features and payment options. To the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right, including without prior notice, to limit the available quantity of or discontinue any feature, service, or offering; to impose conditions on the honoring of any coupon, discount, offer, or promotion; to bar any user from making any transaction; and to refuse to provide any user with any feature, service, or offering.

In the event of a price change for a renewing subscription, we will attempt to notify you in advance by email or other communication to the contact information registered for your account. If you do not wish to accept a price change, you may cancel your subscription in accordance with the instructions in that communication and below. If you do not timely cancel, your subscription will renew at the price indicated when the purchase was made, without further action by you, and you authorize us to charge your payment method accordingly.

8b. Subscription Plans and Pricing

The number of subscription plans offered may vary depending on your location. Absent special offers, standard subscription pricing is:

PlanPrice
1 month$39.99
3 months$59.99
6 months$79.99
1 year$99.99

All prices are in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise displayed at the point of purchase. Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account, or to your credit card or PayPal account, upon confirmation of purchase.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Deleting your account or deleting the Application from your device does not cancel your subscription; you must cancel it as described in Section 8g. You cannot cancel the current subscription during an active subscription period, and no refund is due for the remainder of that period except as provided in Section 8f.

Trials and special offers. We may offer trial periods or discounts. Where a trial period is offered, we will inform you of its length, and you must cancel before the end of the trial period to avoid being automatically charged the subscription fee. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during that trial. We notify Members between 3 and 7 days before the end of a trial period, since all subscription plans renew automatically.

8c. Discounts

Meetville provides periodic discounts to its Members. Discounts may be applied to the renewal of an existing subscription or to the activation of a different plan. Discounts range from 30 to 75 percent, resulting in the following prices:

Standard price30% discount75% discount
$39.99$27.99$10.00
$59.99$41.99$15.00
$79.99$55.99$20.00

Discounts may be provided where: a Member does not purchase a subscription on first offer; a Member is active on the Service; the discount forms part of an advertising campaign; or a Member has insufficient funds to renew a current subscription. Where a discount is applied because of insufficient funds, Members will be informed before any such reduction is implemented and the membership is renewed. A discount is available for one membership type only. Meetville may offer discounts again after a period of time.

8d. Additional Paid Features

VIP subscription. Meetville VIP includes benefits such as unlimited messages, unlimited likes, unlimited gifts, seeing who is interested in you and who has viewed your profile, and other features. VIP may be purchased after registration for subscription periods of varying length. Once paid for, a VIP subscription is non-refundable, except as required by applicable law and as provided in Section 8f.

Spy Kit. The Spy Kit plan allows you to boost your profile status, turn on Incognito mode to view other users' profiles without being seen, and includes a Premium Support feature. You may cancel a Spy Kit subscription at any time by written notice to [email protected], or in the "Edit basic information" section of your account. On cancellation you retain access to the features until the end of your then-current subscription commitment, after which they expire. Once paid for, a Spy Kit subscription is non-refundable, except as required by applicable law and as provided in Section 8f.

Match guarantee. Meetville may offer a Match guarantee feature at $24.99 USD per month, which provides a compilation of profiles selected according to your stated preferences, sent to you by email on a weekly basis until cancelled. You may cancel by written notice to [email protected] or in the "Account settings" section. On cancellation you will stop receiving compilations. Once paid for, a Match guarantee subscription is non-refundable, except as required by applicable law and as provided in Section 8f.

Other purchases. You may pay for other features and services offered on the Services at the prices displayed at the point of purchase. Premium functions may be purchased for various lengths of time following registration.

Installment options. Meetville may offer you the opportunity to split subscription prices into several independent payments. The amount and type of such offers vary by location and other criteria. If you cancel a subscription purchased on an installment basis prior to completing all payments, unless otherwise required by applicable law the remaining balance remains due and payable according to the installment schedule you agreed to.

Administrative fees. Meetville may charge a Cancellation fee, Validation fee, and Refund fee of $0.50 each. These charges are used to verify that a cancellation or refund has been completed successfully, and an immediate refund of each such charge is issued to your payment card.

Payment review. Different payment providers may from time to time require additional business days to review a payment. You authorize transactions that may be delayed by such review. We will inform you once your payment is completed and any purchased features are active.

Virtual items and gifts. Purchases of virtual items and gifts, where offered, are final and non-refundable, except where applicable law provides otherwise (see Section 22 regarding Denmark and Korea). Virtual items represent a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license, and no title or ownership in them is transferred to you. Any balance shown in your account does not constitute a real-world balance or stored value. Virtual items may not be sold, redeemed for money, or transferred to any person, and may only be redeemed through our Services. We may manage, regulate, modify, or eliminate virtual items at any time. You will not receive money or other compensation for unused virtual items when an account is closed, whether the closure is voluntary or involuntary.

8e. Billing, Payment Methods, and Chargebacks

We bill you through an online account (your "Billing Account"). You agree to pay all charges at the prices you agreed to for any use of the Services by you or by any person using your Billing Account, and you authorize us to charge your chosen payment provider (your "Payment Method"). We may correct any billing error or mistake even if we have already requested or received payment.

You must provide current, complete, and accurate Billing Account information and promptly update it — including changes to billing address, card number, or expiration date — and promptly notify us if your Payment Method is cancelled, lost, or stolen, or if you become aware of a potential security breach. Changes can be made in "Account Settings." If you fail to provide this information, you remain responsible for fees accrued under your Billing Account. You authorize us to obtain updated or replacement expiration dates and card numbers from your card issuer.

If a payment is not successfully processed due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts and authorize us to continue billing the Payment Method as it may be updated, which may change your billing dates. Upon renewal, if we do not receive payment, you agree to pay all amounts due on demand, and we may suspend or terminate your subscription and continue attempting to charge your Payment Method until payment is received. On receipt of payment your account will be reactivated and, for purposes of automatic renewal, a new subscription commitment period will begin on the day payment was received.

The terms of your payment are based on your Payment Method and may be determined by agreements between you and your financial institution, card issuer, or other provider.

Chargebacks. If you initiate a chargeback or otherwise reverse a payment, Meetville may terminate your account immediately in its sole discretion, on the basis that you have determined that you do not want a Meetville subscription. If your chargeback or payment reversal is overturned and the funds are returned, you are not entitled to a refund or to have your account or subscription reinstated. Please contact [email protected] in such cases. Your payment provider may require us to submit evidence supporting the validity of charges billed to your account; for this purpose, records of communications sent or received by you on the Services may be used.

8f. Refunds

Generally, all purchases are non-refundable. Special terms apply in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Korea, and in a number of U.S. states.

Generally, all purchases are final and non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods, except where the laws applicable in your jurisdiction provide for refunds.

For subscribers residing in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland: In accordance with local law, you are entitled to a full refund during the 14 days after the subscription begins. This 14-day period commences when the subscription starts. If you connect to your account and use the Services before the end of the cancellation period, that first log-in following the purchase constitutes an express request by you for immediate access to the Services, for which you may be charged for the portion used.

For subscribers residing in Germany: You may terminate your subscription after it has renewed with a notice period of one month. Your right to terminate for cause remains unaffected.

For subscribers and purchasers of virtual items residing in the Republic of Korea: In accordance with local law, you are entitled to a full refund of your subscription and any unused virtual items during the 7 days following purchase. This 7-day period commences upon purchase.

For subscribers residing in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, and Israel:

Your Right to Cancel — You may cancel your subscription, without penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the third business day following the date you subscribed.

In the event that you die before the end of your subscription period, your estate shall be entitled to a refund of that portion of any payment you made which is allocable to the period after your death.

In the event that you become disabled (such that you are unable to use our Services) before the end of your subscription period, you shall be entitled to a refund of that portion of any payment you made which is allocable to the period after your disability, by providing us notice in the same manner as a refund request described below.

How to request a refund. If any of the above applies to you and you subscribed using your Apple ID, refund requests are handled by Apple, not Meetville. To request a refund, contact Apple directly — for example, at reportaproblem.apple.com or https://getsupport.apple.com. If you subscribed through Google Play, refunds are handled by Google under its own terms.

For any other purchase, contact Meetville Customer Service at [email protected] with your order number (see your confirmation email) and the email address or telephone number associated with your account, or by mailing or delivering a signed and dated notice stating that you, the buyer, are canceling this Agreement, or words of similar effect.

8g. Cancellation and Term

This Agreement remains in full force and effect while you use the Services and/or are a Member.

You may cancel your membership at any time, for any reason.

To cancel a subscription purchased through an External Service: You must log in to your External Service account and follow its instructions, even if you have deleted your Meetville account or removed the Application from your device. For Apple, open the App Store, find the Subscriptions section, and cancel; assistance is available at https://getsupport.apple.com. For Google Play, launch the Google Play app and navigate to Subscriptions; assistance is available at https://play.google.com. Cancellation of an External Service Purchase is handled by Apple or Google, not by Meetville.

To cancel a subscription purchased directly: If you purchased using a credit card or PayPal, you may cancel through the application account settings in the "Edit Basic Information" section, or by sending written notice of cancellation to [email protected].

If you cancel through the Services, we may ask you to provide a reason. We require a reasonable amount of time to process a cancellation. On cancellation you retain subscription benefits until the end of your then-current subscription commitment, after which they expire. You will not be eligible for a refund of any portion of the subscription fees paid for the then-current commitment, except as provided in Section 8f. If you paid using a multi-payment or installment option, you must make all payments even if you cancel prior to the end of your existing commitment period.

Canceling a subscription does not cancel your membership. If you cancel your subscription but not your membership, and do not hide your profile, you remain a Member and others may view your profile. If you hide your profile, other Members cannot view it until you unhide it. If you cancel your membership, your profile is removed and other Members can no longer view it. You may hide your profile or cancel your membership at any time through the "Account Settings" page.

8h. Confirmations and Receipts

For every subscription type, Meetville will:

  • Send confirmation of the subscription type by email or other electronic means at the time of enrollment, with detailed subscription terms, trial conditions where applicable, and clear instructions on how to cancel;
  • Send an electronic receipt after each billing, including clear instructions on how to cancel;
  • Notify Members between 3 and 7 days before the end of any trial period; and
  • Provide clear information about each subscription type and collect the Member's acceptance of the subscription terms.

"Clear information" means the price, period, and billing frequency of the subscription, the exact terms of any trial period, and the expected payment at the end of a trial. This information is displayed each time a Member enters card details and on any screen displaying an order summary. By paying for a subscription, a Member agrees to all of its terms.

9. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

If you no longer wish to use our Services, or if we terminate your account, here is what you need to know.

You can delete your account at any time through your account settings, following the instructions to complete the deletion process. However, you must cancel or manage any External Service Purchases through your External Service account (Apple App Store, Google Play) to avoid additional billing.

Meetville reserves the right to review and, if appropriate, suspend, terminate, or ban your account without a refund if we believe that you have violated these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, misused our Services, or behaved in a way that we regard as inappropriate or unlawful, whether on or off our Services, in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to use any personal, technological, legal, or other means available to enforce these Terms, at any time without liability and without obligation to give prior notice, including preventing you from accessing the Services.

You understand and agree that we may not share information with you regarding your account termination where doing so would potentially impair the safety or privacy of other users, compromise an investigation, or where we are prohibited by law from disclosing it.

Upon termination or suspension you will not be entitled to any refund of unused subscription fees, and all unpaid subscription amounts and other fees you owe become immediately due.

If your account is terminated by you or by Meetville for any reason, these Terms continue and remain enforceable between you and Meetville, and you will not be entitled to a refund for purchases made. Your information will be maintained, shared, and deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the retention windows applicable to closed and banned accounts.

After termination, all terms of this Agreement survive and continue in full force and effect, except for terms that by their nature expire or are fully satisfied.

10. NO CRIMINAL BACKGROUND OR IDENTITY VERIFICATION CHECKS

Meetville does not conduct criminal background or identity verification checks on its users. Use your best judgment when interacting with others.

YOU UNDERSTAND THAT MEETVILLE DOES NOT CURRENTLY CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND OR IDENTITY VERIFICATION CHECKS ON ITS USERS OR OTHERWISE INQUIRE INTO THE BACKGROUND OF ITS USERS. MEETVILLE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES AS TO THE CONDUCT, IDENTITY, AGE, HEALTH, PHYSICAL CONDITION, MARITAL STATUS, INTENTIONS, LEGITIMACY, OR VERACITY OF USERS.

MEETVILLE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONDUCT — AND, TO THE EXTENT LEGALLY PERMISSIBLE IN YOUR JURISDICTION, YOU AUTHORIZE MEETVILLE TO CONDUCT — ANY CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK OR OTHER SCREENING (SUCH AS SEX OFFENDER REGISTER SEARCHES) AT ANY TIME USING AVAILABLE PUBLIC RECORDS, AND YOU AGREE THAT ANY INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE MAY BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE. IF THE COMPANY DECIDES TO CONDUCT ANY SCREENING THROUGH A CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY, YOU AUTHORIZE THE COMPANY TO OBTAIN AND USE A CONSUMER REPORT ABOUT YOU TO DETERMINE YOUR ELIGIBILITY UNDER THESE TERMS.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS. SCREENINGS AND OTHER TOOLS DO NOT GUARANTEE YOUR SAFETY AND ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR SENSIBLE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. ALWAYS USE YOUR BEST JUDGMENT WHEN COMMUNICATING WITH OR MEETING NEW PEOPLE. COMMUNICATIONS RECEIVED THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATIONS SENT BY MEETVILLE, MAY RESULT FROM USERS ENGAGING WITH THE SERVICE FOR IMPROPER PURPOSES, INCLUDING FRAUD, ABUSE, HARASSMENT, OR OTHER IMPROPER BEHAVIOR.

The Company is not responsible for the conduct of any Member. In no event shall the Company, its affiliates, or its partners be liable, directly or indirectly, for any losses or damages whatsoever — whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, or incidental — arising out of or relating to the conduct of you or anyone else in connection with the use of the Services, including death, bodily injury, emotional distress, or any other damages resulting from communications or meetings with other Members or persons you meet through the Services.

You agree to take all necessary precautions in all interactions with other Members, particularly if you decide to communicate off the Services or meet in person. You should not provide your financial information — for example, credit card or bank account details — or wire or otherwise send money to other Members. Safety guidance is set out in Section 9d of the Acceptable Use Policy.

You understand that the Company makes no guarantees, express or implied, regarding your compatibility with individuals you meet through the Services.

11. DISCLAIMER

Our Services are provided "as is" and we do not make, and cannot make, any representations about the content or features of our Services or Member Content.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEETVILLE PROVIDES THE SERVICES ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS AND GRANTS NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES (INCLUDING ALL CONTENT CONTAINED THEREIN), INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

MEETVILLE DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT (A) THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (B) ANY DEFECTS OR ERRORS WILL BE DISCOVERED OR CORRECTED; OR (C) ANY CONTENT OR INFORMATION YOU OBTAIN ON OR THROUGH THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR PURPOSES. FURTHERMORE, MEETVILLE MAKES NO GUARANTEES AS TO THE NUMBER OF ACTIVE USERS AT ANY TIME; USERS' ABILITY OR DESIRE TO COMMUNICATE WITH OR MEET YOU; OR YOUR ULTIMATE COMPATIBILITY WITH, OR THE CONDUCT OF, USERS YOU MEET THROUGH THE SERVICES.

MEETVILLE ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CONTENT THAT YOU OR ANOTHER USER OR THIRD PARTY POSTS, SENDS, RECEIVES, OR ACTS ON THROUGH THE SERVICES, NOR FOR THE IDENTITY, INTENTIONS, LEGITIMACY, CONDUCT, OR VERACITY OF ANY USER WITH WHOM YOU MAY COMMUNICATE, ON OR OFF THE SERVICE.

ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH USE OF THE SERVICES IS ACCESSED AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK. MEETVILLE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, OR OTHER EQUIPMENT OR TECHNOLOGY, INCLUDING DAMAGE FROM ANY SECURITY BREACH, VIRUS, BUG, TAMPERING, HACKING, FRAUD, ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, DEFECT, DELAY IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION, COMPUTER LINE OR NETWORK FAILURE, OR ANY OTHER TECHNICAL DISRUPTION OR MALFUNCTION.

Third-party content and advice. From time to time, Meetville may make third-party opinions, advice, statements, offers, or other information available through the Services. All such content is the responsibility of its respective authors and should not necessarily be relied upon. Meetville does not (i) guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any third-party content, or (ii) adopt, endorse, or accept responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, or statement made by any party appearing on the Services.

Any advice posted through the Services is for informational and entertainment purposes only and is not a substitute for professional financial, medical, legal, or other advice. The Company makes no representations and expressly disclaims liability concerning any treatment, action, or effect on any person following information offered through the Services. If you have specific concerns, consult an appropriately qualified professional.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, warranties are limited to the minimum extent required by law.

12. DIGITAL MILLENNIUM COPYRIGHT ACT

We take copyright infringement seriously and ask for your help in addressing it promptly.

Meetville has adopted the following policy toward copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the "DMCA").

You may not post, distribute, or reproduce any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without the prior written consent of the owner of those rights.

If you believe that any Member Content or Our Content infringes your intellectual property rights, please submit a notification ("DMCA Takedown Notice") to our Copyright Agent including:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works;
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (such as a URL);
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

DMCA Takedown Notices should be sent to our Copyright Agent at: [email protected] (subject line: "DMCA Notice").

Meetville will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

13. ADS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

You may see ads and third-party promotions on our Services. Meetville does not endorse and is not responsible for your interactions with those products or services.

Our Services may contain advertisements and promotions offered by third parties, and links to other websites or resources. Meetville may also provide non-commercial links or references to third parties within its content.

Meetville is not responsible for the availability, or lack of availability, of any external website or resource or its content, and is not responsible for and does not endorse any products or services offered by third-party websites or resources. If you choose to interact with third parties made available through our Services, that party's terms will govern their relationship with you. Meetville is not responsible or liable for such third parties' terms or actions.

Your correspondence and business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, third parties found on or through the Services — including payment and delivery of related goods or services and any associated terms, conditions, warranties, or representations — are solely between you and that third party. Meetville shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of, or reliance upon, any such content, goods, services, or other materials.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Meetville's liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MEETVILLE, ITS AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, FIXED, OR ENHANCED DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICES; (II) THE CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY USERS (INCLUDING MEMBER CONTENT OR YOUR CONTENT) OR THIRD PARTIES ON OR THROUGH THE SERVICES; OR (III) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT, EVEN IF MEETVILLE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MEETVILLE'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), OR (B) THE AMOUNT PAID, IF ANY, BY YOU TO MEETVILLE FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE TWENTY-FOUR (24) MONTH PERIOD IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE DATE ON WHICH YOU FIRST FILE A LEGAL PROCEEDING AGAINST MEETVILLE, WHETHER STATUTORY, IN LAW, OR IN EQUITY, IN ANY TRIBUNAL.

The damages limitation set forth above applies (i) regardless of the ground upon which liability is based (whether default, contract, tort, statute, or otherwise), (ii) irrespective of the type of breach of rights, privileges, or obligations, and (iii) with respect to all events, the Services, and this Agreement.

The limitation of liability provisions in this Section shall apply even if your remedies under this Agreement fail with respect to their essential purpose.

STATUTORY RIGHTS PRESERVED. Nothing in this Section limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or under mandatory consumer protection or data protection statutes. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of certain damages, so some or all of the limitations in this Section may not apply to you.

15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In the unlikely event of a legal dispute, here is how the Parties agree to proceed. These Terms do not require arbitration.

15a. Informal Dispute Resolution Process

If you are dissatisfied with our Services for any reason, please contact Meetville Customer Service at [email protected] first, so that we can try to resolve your concerns without outside assistance.

For purposes of this Section, "Meetville" includes our affiliates, employees, licensors, and service providers. A "Dispute" is any dispute, claim, or controversy between you and Meetville arising from or relating in any way to this Agreement (including any alleged breach), the Services, or our relationship with you. "Dispute" has the broadest possible meaning and includes claims that arose before this or any prior agreement, claims arising during its term, and claims arising after its termination.

Before formally pursuing a Dispute, you agree to first send a detailed written notice ("Notice") to [email protected] containing: (1) your full name; (2) information enabling us to identify your account, including the email address, phone number, or other identifier you used to register; and (3) a detailed description of the Dispute, including its nature and factual basis, the relief you seek, and a corresponding calculation of your alleged damages, if any. If Meetville has a Dispute with you, we will send a Notice to your most recent email address on file, containing equivalent information.

You and Meetville agree to negotiate in good faith to resolve the Dispute. As part of these negotiations, either Party may request a telephone or video conference, and the other Party agrees to participate.

If the Dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days after receipt of a fully completed Notice, and the Parties have not agreed to extend that period, either Party may commence proceedings in accordance with Sections 15b and 16. Completion of this informal process is a condition precedent to filing suit, except for claims filed in small claims court and except where applicable law provides otherwise. The statute of limitations and any filing deadlines will be tolled while the Parties engage in this process.

All offers, promises, conduct, and statements made in the course of the informal dispute resolution process are confidential and not admissible for any purpose in any subsequent proceeding, provided that evidence otherwise admissible or discoverable is not rendered inadmissible or non-discoverable.

15b. Small Claims Court

Either you or Meetville may elect to have an individual claim heard in small claims court, provided the claim falls within that court's jurisdiction. Nothing in this Agreement prevents you from bringing a qualifying claim in the small claims court of your jurisdiction.

15c. No Arbitration Requirement

These Terms do not require you to arbitrate any Dispute. Disputes not resolved through the informal process in Section 15a and not brought in small claims court will be resolved in the courts identified in Section 16, subject to the rights of consumers in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland set out below.

The online dispute settlement platform of the European Commission is available at https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/index_en. Meetville does not take part in dispute settlement procedures before a consumer arbitration entity for users residing in the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

15d. Claims Not Restricted

Nothing in this Section limits your right to report criminal conduct to law enforcement, to file a complaint with a data protection authority, consumer protection regulator, or other competent authority, or to pursue any claim or remedy that applicable law provides and that cannot be waived by agreement.

15e. Limitation Period

Except where prohibited by applicable law, any claim or cause of action arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Services must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or be forever barred. This limitation does not apply where the applicable law of your jurisdiction provides for a longer non-waivable limitation period, including for consumers in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland.

16. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE

Delaware law applies to any Dispute, except where prohibited by law.

Governing law. To the fullest extent allowable by law, the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict of laws rules, shall apply to any Dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or our Services.

Mandatory consumer law preserved. For users residing outside the United States, the choice of Delaware governing law shall not supersede any mandatory consumer protection legislation in the jurisdiction where you resided at the time you accepted this Agreement. In the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the choice of Delaware law does not apply where a mandatory consumer protection law prohibits such a choice-of-law provision.

Venue. To the fullest extent allowable by law, any claims that are not resolved informally must be litigated exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the State of Delaware, U.S.A. — except for (i) claims filed in small claims court, and (ii) claims by users residing in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction where such a forum selection is prohibited by law. You and Meetville consent to the exercise of personal jurisdiction of courts in the State of Delaware for such purposes and waive any claim that such courts constitute an inconvenient forum.

Consumers in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence in accordance with applicable law, and Meetville may bring proceedings against such consumers only in the courts of the consumer's country of residence.

17. INDEMNITY BY YOU

You agree to indemnify Meetville if a claim is made against us due to your actions.

You agree, to the extent permitted under applicable law, to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Meetville, our affiliates, and their and our respective officers, directors, agents, and employees from and against any and all complaints, demands, claims, damages, losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, due to, arising out of, or relating in any way to: your access to or use of our Services; Your Content; your conduct toward other users; your violation of any law or regulation; or your breach of this Agreement, including any breach of your representations and warranties.

The Company reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with the Company.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW INDEMNIFICATION, SO SOME OR ALL OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

18. NOTICES AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

Notices from us. The Company may provide you with notices, including notices regarding changes to this Agreement, using any reasonable means now known or later developed, including email, regular mail, SMS, MMS, text message, in-app notification, or postings on the Services. Such notices may not be received if you violate this Agreement by accessing the Services in an unauthorized manner. You agree that you are deemed to have received any notice that would have been delivered had you accessed the Services in an authorized manner.

Service communications. When you become a Member, you agree to receive email and other messages from us. These may be transactional or relationship communications relating to the Services — such as administrative notices, service announcements, and changes — or commercial communications, promotions, and special offers from us or third-party partners, subject to your settings and applicable law. See our Privacy Policy for more information, and Section 5.4 of the Privacy Policy regarding your opt-out rights. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional, service-essential, safety-related, or legally required communications.

Push notifications and location features. After downloading an Application, you will be asked to accept or deny push notifications and alerts. If you deny, you will not receive them. You may opt out at any time by changing your notification settings on your device. Certain features may make content or services available based on your location, determined using GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or software within your device. If you disable location services or do not authorize the Application to access your location data, you will not be able to access location-specific features. See our Privacy Policy for how we use and retain this information.

Automatic notifications. You agree that the Company may send automatic notifications from your profile to other Members in accordance with our matchmaking system results, subject to your notification settings.

Test accounts. From time to time, employees of the Company may create test accounts solely for the purpose of testing the functionality of the Services and improving service quality. Such test accounts are used for internal testing only and are not used to initiate or simulate communications with Members for the purpose of encouraging purchases.

Customer service conduct. When communicating with our customer care representatives, whether by telephone, email, or letter, you agree not to be abusive, obscene, profane, offensive, threatening, harassing, or racially offensive, or otherwise to behave inappropriately. Telephone calls between you and our customer care representatives may be recorded for quality assurance purposes where permitted by applicable law. If we consider your behavior toward any customer care representative or employee to be threatening or offensive, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your membership without refund of unused subscription fees.

Electronic signature. By clicking a button labeled "SUBMIT," "I ACCEPT," "I AGREE," or a similar link or button, you are submitting a legally binding electronic signature and entering into a legally binding contract. Pursuant to applicable law, including the United States Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (the "E-Sign Act"), you agree to the use of electronic signatures, contracts, orders, and other records, and to electronic delivery of notices, policies, and records of transactions initiated or completed through the Services.

19. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using our Services, whether through a mobile device, mobile application, or computer, you agree to be bound by (i) these Terms, which we may amend from time to time; (ii) our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy; and (iii) any Additional Terms Upon Purchase. If you do not accept and agree to be bound by all of the terms of this Agreement, you are not entitled to use our Services.

All pronouns and variations thereof shall be deemed to refer to the masculine, feminine, neuter, singular, or plural as the identity of the entities or persons referred to may require.

20. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement supersedes any previous agreements or representations.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, any specific guidelines or rules separately posted for particular services or offers, and any Additional Terms Upon Purchase, contain the entire agreement between you and Meetville regarding the use of our Services, and supersede all previous agreements, representations, and arrangements between us, written or oral.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or otherwise unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.

No waiver. The failure of the Company to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. Your account is non-transferable, and all of your rights to your profile and the contents of your account terminate upon your death, unless otherwise provided by law. Any rights and licenses granted to you may not be transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by us without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.

No agency. No agency, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary relationship, or employment is created as a result of these Terms, and you may not make any representations on behalf of, or bind, Meetville in any manner.

Language. This Agreement is drafted in English. Where we provide a translation, the English version controls in the event of conflict, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Force majeure. Meetville shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, network or infrastructure failures, labor disputes, or acts of war or terrorism.
