I am an avid scuba diver and scuba *** I could afford to travel every month I would, and it would be somewhere warm and wonderful. I'm not much for laying around on a beach, I like to stay active and playful; that's what keeps the heart young.Listening to music beats out watching tv any day of the week. I actually gave up cable a few years ago and I don't really miss it, except during March Madness. Watching college sports is preferred to professional spots, but I'm not against the pros either. I will warn you, I am prone to singing out loud to songs that move me, and I am slightly tone def, doesn't really seem to bother me much, but I can't speak for you! Consider yourself warned!!I am a good hearted woman that cares very deeply for my friends and family and I would do anything for them. I believe in honesty, and I say usually what I mean. I have a high regard and standard for myself in how I act and treat others, and therefore I hold everyone to that same standard. Fair is fair.I want to find that special someone to share my life with including all the good and the bad; the high times and the low times. Someone that I can count on and he can count on me to be there, and to work through it together. Life is about the journey! My ideal first date has some kind of activity involved where we can talk and get to know one another. I'm not really looking for dinner, and definitely not a movie. I appreciate the little things like taking a walk around a park, checking out art/ something with culture. Even taking the dog to the dog park and letting him/ them play is great. Finding live music is always a plus, but again I want the chance to get to know you and what you are about. Creativity always wins extra points with me, and that doesn't mean it has to be expensive. I am young at heart, so donning rollerskates and trying not to kill ourselves would be a hoot. Think about it and let me know your thoughts. How creative can you get?

Well, let's see... I'm really into my garden and house. I like the "do-it-yourself" approach to life, so I'm often splitting and stacking my own firewood or canning tomatoes, beans and salsa from my garden. I love being in the woods hiking, camping or drinking a g-n-t and painting my toenails by the river. I make a point of getting somewhere in nature at least a couple of times a week, especially in the summer. Its important to me to spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I'm really lucky to have such good ones and life is too short not to appreciate them every chance I get. I like my work/job and try to be good at it, but its not even remotely the most important thing in life to me. Never been big on the 9-5, 401k approach to life. I haven't dated in a while. Feeling settled and grounded now and wouldn't mind opening out into the world a bit more... Coffee... A drink... A walk by the river...
