This is way out of my comfort zone but I hear it's what the cool kids are doing these days so here goes... As far as the me specific stuff goes, it's simple, I've got a pretty great life, surrounded by some pretty great people. But sometimes it would be nice to have someone to make the great things even more great. I'm not looking for one night stands or to serial date, nor do I want a minivan with ridiculous stick people on the back... I'm looking for equal parts friendship and attraction; which is not all that easy to come by... If you are cute, smart, funny and articulate; genuine, trustworthy and considerate; have all of your proverbial ducks in a row; don't take yourself too seriously; enjoy random adventures and will respond to my sarcasm with more sarcasm instead of getting upset, then we should probably be having a conversation right now.I'm not a huge fan of talking endlessly about myself and I don't think there are any original adjectives that haven't already been used on this site, so here are a few random facts about me... I'm addicted to chap stick. I have no depth perception. I've never had a cavity. I'm afraid of birds. I love to laugh and am only serious when absolutely necessary. I LOVE music. I got a pony for xmas when I was 5 (yes, I was that kid). I wish I traveled more and worked less. Tea= sanity in a cup. Oh and poor grammar and spelling drives me bonkers! That is all. :)

I am wanting to take things very slowly at this point. I am still pretty fresh out of a relationship and in the healing phase. I don't have a lot of free time, as I work a lot and spend a lot of time with my family, but when I get the time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, shooting pool, and singing karaoke (that's definitely not all I enjoy doing, but given the time of day that my free time usually occurs, that's what I end up doing). **A side note: you must be able to actually hold a conversation to catch my attention.I plan on adding things as they come to mind, so please bear with me...this profile is a work in progress...I want to find someone that has similar interests as me. Someone who is trustworthy. Having a job is important, because it shows responsibility. (I currently work 2 jobs...one for almost 3 1/2 years, and the other for almost 8 years) I do have children, so you must be kid-friendly. If you harm my children, I WILL hurt you!Religious preference does not bother me, but please do not push your views on me...I am not quite sure what I am at this point, but I do believe in treating others as you wish to be treated.....karma can be a b*!ch if you make the wrong choices, but she can be your best friend as well...You must be musically open. I love ALL styles of music, and my mood/what happens to be on the radio tends to determine what I am listening to at any given moment. I have played piano, cello, and guitar, but no longer practice any form of music except singing due to physical ailments. But none-the-less, music has played a huge part in my life. Intelligence is important to me, as it can be boring to be with someone of an either higher or lesser intelligence-levelI'm definitely one-of-a-kind (although, aren't we all really?)....i'm a little bit country, a little bit rock-n-roll.....and a few other things tossed in for an interesting mix.I like to keep my house tidy, although that can sometimes be tough between children and work......are you bored yet? lol......I'm a single child, raised by split parentsI am not homophobic, prejudiced, or close-minded in any way, and anyone I date must share that similarity.I am completely open and honest (sometimes to a fault) when asked a question, but tend to be guarded until I trust a person. I do drink (socially, for the most part), and I smoke marijuana (I do have my medical permit), so if that is a problem, please refrain from messaging me (but just because I do, doesn't mean you have to).I recently quit smoking cigarettes on 8/19/13. So, anyone I date must also be a non-smoker. I do not wish to ever start back up again. This is all I can think of at this time...One more thing to add at this point. Communication is key to ANY kind of relationship... I don't want to go on any dates, but hanging out and singing karaoke sounds like fun to me :) ...of course, I am open to ideas....

About me... I am a good hearted girl who likes to have fun. I try to get out and do things as much as I can except for the icky days.. those days I like being by a fire and watch movies. My friends and family are very important to me. They would tell you I have a huge heart, have a few blonde moments, never late (usually 5 or more min early), very caring, thinks of others, if I have a question I will ask, and when I say something, I mean it. I will try anything twice. If I didn't like it the first time... I might like it the second.. if I don't like it the second time then I pretty sure I won't like it any other time. Oh and I love sports! Football is my favorite!! I have a 4 year old son, who is the light of my life. I'm always trying to find the positive in negative things. Life is too short to worry about things you have no control over or to see the negative in EVERYTHING. :-) Looking for a good guy, who knows how a woman should be treated.. likes to have fun.. someone who will back up what they say with actions. Not a fan of liars, people who say one thing and does another, men that whine and complain about everything.
