Now that my son is nearly grown, I have more time for me! I love anything outdoors! Swimming, hiking ,biking, kayaking, beaches, lakes, mountains...can you introduce me to more?I am an avid runner and love the challenge of races, the longer the better! When the going gets tough, just start singing it! I especially like classic rock, jam bands, reggae, and the blues. Love live shows in smaller venues or at huge outdoor festivals. Bob Marley once said: "a good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain"...ahhhh so true, at least for me :)On the spiritual side, I am a thoughtful, kind person that always seems to take the side of the underdog. I've been told I have a big heart. Born and raised a Catholic. It is my foundation, and has helped to shape who I am today...although I haven't been to church much lately, I am more spiritual than ever. I find that I no longer need rules and structure to help me be my best possible caring and compassionate and peaceful me....I try to live by the Golden Rule. When you think about it, isn't it the basis behind every world religion?I hope to find a like minded, passionate man who also does not fit the mold. Please, please be happy, optimistic, fit, active and soulful. Did I mention fit?? Respect for your mind, body and soul should be a priority. Are you kind? I am attractive, loving, intelligent, passionate (and I apply that to all areas of my life), secure within myself, great personality, good sense of humor, down to earth, sensitive, kind to others, have absolutely no drama and I can cook my ass off!! Big Christmas Eves FISH, FISH and more FISH!! I will give the shirt off my back to someone, but if I think they are taking my kindness for weakness I can do a ***in a heartbeat!! I have a lot to offer the right person, I know what I want out of life and in a man. I am not looking for perfection, as there is no such thing but someone who is perfect for me and shares the same values as I do.You should be preferably of Italian decent or at least exposed to that culture. I find that I can relay to that type of man because we come from the same worlds so to speak. You should be mentally and financially secure, no drama, have a good head on your shoulders, a good heart, some street smarts, not afraid to step up to the plate when need be, and know what you want out of life. I need a man I know will protect me with his life, and always got my back right or wrong as I will him . You must have a good sense of humor, passionate, generous, and sweet. Someone with the same values as I have, will stand by me through good and bad and capable of giving Unconditional Love as I will him. True love is so hard to find and if you are lucky enough to find it you must never take it for granted. I have learned down this road they call life that a good relationship consists of trust, loyalty, communication, compromise, empathy, and patience. It is not always blue skys and butterflies but you stand by each other no matter what! Now that’s what I’m talkin bout!Some of the things on my bucket list..... I don’t want to be 90 years old!! LOL After reading some of these profiles I think there are a few things you should know which I do not do, I don’t mountain climb, bike, hike, camping and I don’t jump out of airplanes, unless its on fire!! LOL I’m by no means boring and I am always the life of the party, but I’m kind of a girly girl so if involves bugs, broken bones or a full body cast, its not for me! Ill take pictures of you doing it while I sit safely in a chair somewhere with my bug spray. LOLWith all that said, I know you’re out there somewhere so I will let faith take it from here! Several people have told me I'm not like most women but that would be your decision. It takes quite a bit to make me angry. I'd rather discuss it and make up than fight and not talk to each other. Like kiss me goodnight every night. Traveling is my utmost favorite--to see all the beauty of the world! Sometimes spending doing nothing at all is great also. Listening to music--I just love music: classic rock, country, jazz, oldies, some celtic/irish music, very little rap, and others. Recently went to the Zac Brown Band at Spac--awesome! I'm a grandmother of two grandaughters; just love it. Two sons age 30 and 26, my youngest son and I now share residence.If I do something that looks rediculous, I can laugh at myself and feel fine being laughed at if warranted. If I am close to you as a friend or partner, you know you can count on me to be there when you need me. Love adventure and quick get aways. Surprises are great also. Be sure that I will need MY time and time with my friends, but there are also family times and times to be alone with my partner. So let's be adventurous and go on a date!! ; I have packed a picnic lunch to share and possibly some games to play to develop conversation to get to know one another. Music will play just loud enough to add background effect to our picnic.
