About Me
I am wanting to take things very slowly at this point. I am still pretty fresh out of a relationship and in the healing phase. I don't have a lot of free time, as I work a lot and spend a lot of time with my family, but when I get the time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, shooting pool, and singing karaoke (that's definitely not all I enjoy doing, but given the time of day that my free time usually occurs, that's what I end up doing). **A side note: you must be able to actually hold a conversation to catch my attention.I plan on adding things as they come to mind, so please bear with me...this profile is a work in progress...I want to find someone that has similar interests as me. Someone who is trustworthy. Having a job is important, because it shows responsibility. (I currently work 2 jobs...one for almost ***years, and the other for almost 8 years) I do have children, so you must be kid-friendly. I don't mind if you have a kid (or kids), but I do not/cannot have any more. If you harm my children, I WILL hurt you!Religious preference does not bother me, but please do not push your views on me...I am not quite sure what I am at this point, but I do believe in treating others as you wish to be treated.....karma can be a b*!ch if you make the wrong choices, but she can be your best friend as well...You must be musically open. I love ALL styles of music, and my mood/what happens to be on the radio tends to determine what I am listening to at any given moment. I have played piano, cello, and guitar, but no longer practice any form of music except singing due to physical ailments. But none-the-less, music has played a huge part in my life. Intelligence is important to me, as it can be boring to be with someone of an either higher or lesser intelligence-levelI'm definitely one-of-a-kind (although, aren't we all really?)....i'm a little bit country, a little bit rock-n-roll.....and a few other things tossed in for an interesting mix.I like to keep my house tidy, although that can sometimes be tough between children and work......are you bored yet? lol......I'm a single child, raised by split parentsI am not homophobic, prejudiced, or close-minded in any way, and anyone I date must share that similarity.I am completely open and honest (sometimes to a fault) when asked a question, but tend to be guarded until I trust a person. I do drink (socially, for the most part), and I smoke marijuana (I do have my medical permit), so if that is a problem, please refrain from messaging me (but just because I do, doesn't mean you have to).I recently quit smoking cigarettes on ***. So, anyone I date must also be a non-smoker. I do not wish to ever start back up again. This is all I can think of at this time...One more thing to add at this point. Communication is key to ANY kind of relationship... I don't want to go on any dates, but hanging out and singing karaoke sounds like fun to me :) ...of course, I am open to ideas....
