Hello,I never know where to begin on this..........So let's see, I'm at a point in my life where all is really good in my life. My job, health, friends/fam, my son---all is great. However as you can imagine, the one area lacking in my life is a person to truly share it all with. I never-ever thought dating would be this difficult. In my twenties, i met someone, thought they were cute---dated them and that was it. Wow-it's such a new world! We all have a lot of life that has to come together and mesh. We have long lists of qualities we want that special person to have --but ya know what---none of it matters what this or that is***because it all comes down to chemistry. Either we're going to have that something special in person or we're not. I dont' know if we're all beat up at this age or what, but i can't seem to find that special zest for life in another person that i feel i've still got left in me. People seem SPENT and hurt and used up. Come on people, let's not give up yet! :) Ok--but please don't *** your out of my age group--i prefer to stay 35 to ***no more--no less. I just do--things are too weird outside of that. And i'm not looking for any one night flings or any of that crap so dont' bother if that's what you're on here for. She does have a set number of weekends with her father so that is the time when I can meet new people. I will not introduce anyone to her until we have made a real connection and the relationship has progressed to a deeper level. 7 years old is just too young to understand “dating” in my opinion. I’m not flexible on this so if it’s something you can’t understand, please pass me by. In addition to owning/running my photography business I also teach a photo class once a month, and volunteer for a non-profit organization three or so days a month for a couple of years now. However I've started a new chapter and am now focused on a second degree. This doesn't mean I have put down the camera(s). What else... So just about anything outdoors. I am also taking ballet again, shh... Don't tell anyone or they'll ask me to do a pirouette for them ;-) I love all kinds of music and all kinds of places to see live bands. I love weekend getaways and try to travel somewhere about every 6 to 8 weeks. And YES, I have my passport! The most important quality for me in another is honesty. It’s not about not telling lies. I insist that our first date last a minimum of 13 hours, how else will we get to know each other? In that time, we can watch the entire first season of something on Netflix, clean my house, have 3 meals, begin AND end an acid trip.
