I think options for a first date is based on the personality of the people going out. It could be something fun like go-cart racing, laser tag or mini golf. Or it could be something like a wine tasting or microbrewery tour or even as simple as just grabbing a cup of coffee or a beer. I don't think a movie on a first date is a good idea - I mean how can you get to know someone if you have to be quiet for 2 hours???

Well...after putting myself back out on the market, I have found that it is tough to meet people unless you brave the bar scene every weekend. Don't get me wrong...I love a good night out! I am a music teacher and mom. Separated for about a year. I have twin boys. Don't do very well filling these things out but I'm quite good in conversation. I lead an active lifestyle - I run and practice yoga and bellydancing. I also swim in the summer. I find physical health to be very important and try to eat clean foods as much as possible. Let's meet for coffee or a beer/glass of wine in a relaxed and quiet atmosphere where we can actually hear each other speak. Maybe go for a walk. During the day is just as good as an evening. I'm pretty easy-going.
