Because I'm still young enough I haven't closed the door on ever having another child but I am beyond happy with the way my life is now so not having more will not upset me. I'm ok with you having kids of your own and expect that life with you will include them as well. First date is more of a chemistry check. Let's get together for a coffee or a frosty beverage. I think options for a first date is based on the personality of the people going out. It could be something fun like go-cart racing, laser tag or mini golf. Or it could be something like a wine tasting or microbrewery tour or even as simple as just grabbing a cup of coffee or a beer. I don't think a movie on a first date is a good idea - I mean how can you get to know someone if you have to be quiet for 2 hours???
