I am happily separated (though the circumstances surrounding it are not always so happy). I have been dealt a bad hand through all of this, but am working very hard to get back on my feet. I am not going to be a victim any longer. I am strong-willed, independent and capable. Through all of this I am learning my true worth and will never again settle for anything less that I know I deserve. I am also not so tough. I have a huge heart, that I typically wear on my sleeve. Sometimes that messes things up for me but at least I can sleep at night because I know I have been honest and forthright. I have a lot of love to give. I do not really like talking about myself, shocking I know! Moved here 6 years ago to be near my beautiful niece. My family is very important to me, as are my friends. It would be nice to meet someone who shares the same interests as far as family goes, but it is not a deal breaker. Not sure what that means maybe you can help me with that? Hello! Thanks for checking me out! ;) First, I have to say that I've noticed a lot of guys write "no drama" on their page. I have a 16 year old boy and 12 year old girl, so yes, (fortunately) I have drama in my life. If you have a little girl and don't, please let me know your secret. ;0) We all know that everything is the end of the world for little girls. lol I enjoy spending time with my kids and I'm very thankful that they still want me around for the time being! As much as I love them, I also enjoy having my "me time" and I would love to find someone to share it with. I cannot have any more children, but I am completely fine dating someone that has children. I am a pretty simple person. I honestly do try to keep things simple. I love being outdoors in the summertime. I like camping and fishing, (yes, I can bait my own hook), cooking out, working in my flower beds, riding bikes, hanging out with friends & family, amusement parks, or basically anything else that keeps me active. I also like to just sit and observe nature and relax. In the winter I tend to hibernate most of the time. I like to work on projects around the house and cuddle up on the couch and watch movies. I work out 5 to 6 days a week and try to eat healthy most of the time, but I still love an ice cold beer or two while I'm cooking out. I also love cooking and trying new recipes. I'm very outgoing and try my best to be open-minded and accepting of others. I'm a very affectionate, caring person and must have someone that is the same. I enjoy meeting new people, going to new places, and learning new things. I'm that person that talks to everyone in the line at the grocery store, (or anywhere else for that matter). I'm currently going to school to get my Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. Between school and kids it doesn't leave a lot of time to meet new people.
