Life is too short to be unhappy, so happiness all the way, with the understanding that sometimes life throws us curveballs; but nothing too big within our control that we cannot overcome. Honesty is very important. Without trust, there is nothing. I don't have "favorites", meaning, I try to enjoy all things. I don't have a favorite song, music, movie genre's, activities, etc. I am open to doing new things, within reason that is. I try to find the positives in life. Some people might complain of a rainy day, I look at it more as: well, I can get stuff done around the house so I can enjoy the next good weather day. Or, I look at rainy days as "cuddle weather" time. Also, please note that my profile says "separated". I am giving you the truth. I am not interested in making that work, I tried, but it failed. I have realized that with that relationship, no matter what I did, the other party involved would/could not step up to do the right things to maintain it. Until resolved, I have felt that I have been in limbo and that is not where I want to be. I do think that one should finish something before you goes on...but in this case...it is now a waiting thing and I choose to be happy, so who is with me?***I am not trying to be rude or mean by my next statement in anyway...but...I would prefer that you be atleast 5'10" maybe 5'9", but ideally 5'10" or taller. I love wearing my pretty shoes and I really don't want to put them on and then I'm taller than you. For me, it's just uncomfortable. Please also have witts to you. I just do not prefer to have a conversation with someone that seems to be clueless about everything. I don't expect you to know everything about everything, but I'm not wanting to talk to an idiot either. Players, liars, cheaters, beaters, drama filled people, negative people, no ambition/drive/motivation, and problem starters - STAY AWAY! Again, I am open to many things. I can't really say what I would prefer a first date to be, other than, use this time to get to know the person. I would not prefer the first date to be something like going to a movie. If we were to go to a movie, we are not giving the other person our attention. The attention would be on the movie...so I don't recommend that for a first date. Something more along the lines of a picnic, a museum, an amusement park, a zoo, or maybe even walk around a city/town and explore what that town has to offer. This way, we are doing something together, with the opportunity to talk and get to know what each likes and doesn't. I think those things would probably be good for a SECOND date...so how about, the first date be a casual, get to know each other conversation during a nice walk or a cup of coffee?

Ok so I just got out of a bad marriage and then had my heart broken severely by the one serious relationship I've had since then; so therefore I'm not really 100% positive of what I want exactly. I do know that I am tired of being lonely and tired of being hurt. I have been shattered but I think I may be pieced back together if the right man comes along; I have great capacity to love but am a little scared of it; so patience is a MUST!!! My main goal in life is making sure my daughter is happy healthy and well adjusted. After that would fall finding a great man to love, be good to and build a happy life and future with, having a peaceful and happy home life is a very high priority. I am a very laid back and unique woman. I was once very overweight and had gastric bypass almost 8 years ago; loosing over half of myself in weight so there are no issues with an ego here; actually if anything just the opposite; I tend to have problems with my self esteem at times; though I pride myself in teaching my daughter self love; no matter what and being accepting of others no matter what; even those with differences or disabilities. As far as my interest in music is concerned I have a wide variety of taste; from classical to hardcore black and death metal. I pretty much like all types; except I am no very big into hip hop, rap or pop. If there is anything else you want to know; just ask, I'm an open book. Lunch or dinner at a quiet Bistro or Cafe, or coffee at a nice cozy coffee shop or possibly a quiet stroll at the park. I like to do something that gives an opportunity to talk and get to know each other.

Well meetville actually worked for one of my friends she's met a great guy and they're ridiculously happy so I thought I'd give this a shot. When I work I work hard but it's not the typical schedule I work some nights and some weekends but this allows me to stay home with my kids especially throughout the summer which I enjoy immensely. I'm a single parent of an active teenage boy and so far, I'm surviving!! I don't have a ton of free time, work full time and am very involved in my sons life and his activities.
