I retired and moved to Buchanan, Va in April 2021. I love being near the Appalachian Trail, Blue Ridge Parkway and the James River, some of my favorite places. I am Floridian by birth, grew up in Jacksonville, and graduated from Florida State University. I am a Virginian by choice. I grew up near the beach and still enjoy it, but I love the mountains. I am a dog lover, have a rescue dog named Rey, she’s 2 years. I hope to meet someone who shares interests and perhaps one will develop into a long-term relationship. I desire a kindred spirit in fun and mischief, an explorer, a moderate risk taker, someone who loves to kid around, who knows life is short where kindness, friendships + love are the sweetest things, humble and self-assured, willing to share and listen. A life goal of mine is to finish hiking the Appalachian Trail, 1400 miles to go, 915 miles done, adding another 100 the week of Memorial Day 2022. My interests include learning to play guitar, cooking, an old 1990 Miata, camping (Glamping included), water activities, gardening, cycling, DIY projects, I surfed in my youth, snow skied as an adult, motorcycles, and surviving. I bicycle garden and love the outdoors. I am a bourbon collector but also enjoy craft beers, wines, and other spirits.
