Just looking.....There has to be an attraction, that spark, that chemestry...... which I haven't found in a very long time. I divorced in 92 and have never remarried. Came close several yrs ago. I am content on my own and by no means desperate. I would rather be alone than in an unhappy relationship.I had a career ending injury a cpl yrs ago and am recovering from a recent shoulder surgery. I have a lot to consider career wise. And, may even move to the east coast where my brother lives. I own a home and have lived in OK most of my life. So, lots to figure out. I'm leaning toward staying in OK it's up in the air for now. Just working on making my arm better. :- Haven't done it in years. I love to dance, but don't do that very often either. I need a good dance partner :-) I am way past the bikini wearing days so if you are looking for a swim suit model those days are way behind me! I could stand to lose a few pounds but I am not obese and after my arm heals and I can feel more like myself I can work at dropping these extra pounds. I still won't wear a bikini tho! LolI can narrow my list a little ....things i do not care for.....pics of men with no shirts flexing your muscles, pics of your cars or motorcycles, pics far away or wearing sunglasses. Things i do like.......Smile and take off those shades! Show those pearly whites and your eyes. You can tell a lot about a person with the eyes and smile....Have a pic without a ratty ball cap. I don't dress up all the time but I don't dress like a bum all the time either. I take pride in my appearance and would like a man who takes pride in his appearance too. I am not perfect and I'm not looking for perfection. I'm just wanting a good, down to earth, moral, good-hearted, loyal companion. Someone who is not needy! and can be himself with me and my family. Also, if you have a history of crimes against others I can assure you we will not be a match. I do have standards and pride myself in being a law abiding citizen. Please accept my apologies.....I'm sure most of you are really nice guys and have good intentions. if I don't reply to your message please don't be offended. I have been on my own for such a long time and have become too self sufficient maybe. I am not lookin for a sugar daddy and I am by no means a sugar mamma! Lol. I hope one day to meet someone but I don't know that online is where I will meet that someone. I am extremely independent and kind of conservative.....definately not a thrill seeker. People always say that communication is important. And while I agree, I think that should be defined. I am outgoing, inquisitive and enjoy being around people. In fact I have very little problem communicating with anyone about almost any topic and in any style, ie: ***, IM's, texting, phone conversations, face to face, in small or large groups and one on one. For me that is pretty easy to do and I do enjoy those styles of communcation. But I think there is more to my saying that communication is important. If you 'get that' and can relate, then we may want to communicate further. :) Okay I think many of you don't understand what I meant... I did not mean that when you asked for my number and I give it to you that I want to text back and forth without ever talking. It also amazes me how many of you feel it okay to text and or type in messages here about having , wanting, or how great they are in bed with someone that they've NEVER met in real life! My kids are college graduates and I am ready to share my life with someone. The questions here are a bit funny... Yes, I have a car and I actually DO know how to drive it lol... the want kids question: I want the kids I have and would like to be friends with the kids of someone I am dating, but I do not want to have any more children.I want to be with someone who makes me smile from the inside out. I try to look at the best in each day and share smiles and laughter with those around me. I'm independent, a hard worker, honest, and playful. I love to try new things. Family and friends are important to me. Being a hopeful romantic, I believe in relationships, faithfulness, and being in love. I know that there also must be "the chemistry", AKA "passion". I enjoy intelligent, fun and witty conversations. Even better if one contains all three features! It would be nice, no, NECESSARY for me to meet someone with good morals and values. I really want someone who is naturally 'good'. Someone who is honest, trustworthy, outgoing, creative, attractive and FUN. (Remember ... all of these qualities are relative ... what I may consider attractive, fun, and creative another may not) Since honesty is important... I have a preference for men who are tall. I would like to meet someone who is happy, energetic, and a great communicator with a sense of humor. He doesn't have to be perfect, just perfect for me. Besides, perfection is over rated.... except for the perfect kiss! :) Please include a photo, it's only fair as I have photos posted. My philosophy on "dating" is "I'm meeting a new person. No Expectations, (besides the obvious one: Non-married, non stalker, non drug user, male with manners!), just meet and see what happens from there. Oh and this is probably a deal breaker... I'm allergic to cats and bees... so cat owners and beekeepers are probably not a good match! :) Not sure why so many men suggest a walk for a first date? I think it's the worst first date for anyone because of safety issues, as well as it's difficult to look one another in the eyes. I prefer meeting someone at a place where we can talk and hear one another. Now... if we hit it off after our first meeing... then I'd get excited about the "FIRST DATE". I also believe that it isn't about WHERE you are but more important is WHO you're with.I've met only a couple of men from this site... That being said: Men: Please don't lie... what purpose does that serve, except to send a red flag immediately. Please have recent pictures and do not lie about your age in your profile, and even if it were a mistake and you said you can't change your age, easy suggestion is to make a new profile!! While sex is important in a relationship I do not want to have sex with you the first time we meet!!
