My version of summer camp involves waking early and making strong coffee w/ foamed milk, then heading back to bed to sit and drink it, while watching the surf, and deciding when it is best to get wet today. I love learning new things, currently studying Italiano - che bello!I am pretty much obsessed with fresh local food, love to prepare it and savor it, from an aesthetic sense, a savory sense, and a very healthy sense. A beach walk, or swim, and foraging for that food structures my day-- I schedule my fun, then work around it!.. I look for ways to serve everyday, my family, my clients, my community - it is my nature to do so. I love books, movies and art, with long conversations about them, and why we respond the way we do- interests me. Sports, travel music, are important aspects of my life. I am always 'in training' for something, even if only to lift the 50# bag of dog food! ! I have lots of energy, like challenging myself and growing from new experiences - doesn't everyone? LOL I do like SUP, it scares the heck out of me, yet I want to push at my comfort zone in most aspects of my life - keeps life exciting! a beach walk is good, or meeting for coffee. I am a very happy person; I can have a good time doing just about anything. I laugh at jokes, myself and sometimes life in general. I will try just about anything once unless it involves heights. I see no reason to jump out of a perfectly working airplane… I have a nice life; I have an education, a job I love, and my own home and I raised a terrific kid and now her friend as well. Who could really ask for more. I am kind to everyone, I don’t care who or what you are, treat me nice and I will treat you nice. I am honest, faithful, loving, love to cuddle, and hold hands. I am not mean and I do not hold a grudge, life is way too short for any of that nonsense. I would rather just have a conversation and workout the issues. I feel we all need some amount of space, so I am not clingy, or desperate. If our plans change, I do not get upset about it I just make new ones for myself. I think I am a good time all by myself. I can always find something to enjoy in just about anything I do. I used to play pool, I used to love to dance but no one has danced with me since my Dad died. I love spending time with family, friends and animals. I love quiet nights in or out with someone special. I miss the conversations that go from funny to deep to giggles. I want fun and laughter back, I would like to travel some, I have worked way to hard in the past so it is time for me to enjoy life and I would like to have someone to join me. Maybe that could be you? We could meet for a drink maybe someplace quiet so we could talk. Maybe a walk after just because we want to keep talking.
