I love to laugh and live one day at the time. Being happy, positive and very easy going person that's what I'm all about. I really enjoy the outdoors, spending time with my kids and grand kids when they come to visit or I visit them., golfing -- even in the sand-trap, going for walks, adventure, enjoy going to the gym, riding my motorcycle, and home cuddling while watching a movie. I also enjoy fishing, camping,cross country skiing, anything outdoors, I enjoy both city and country life. I'm a loving and caring person who appreciate honesty and sincerity. My goal and has always been for some time to find a man with the same values in the sense of family. Has stability in all aspects.I own my own home and have a great job. I am looking for a man that has similar interests and knows what he wants.Just wants to enjoy life to the fullest. I know he is out there. People meetfor a reason, a season, or for a life time.. He will be for a reason, then a season....and hopefully for as long as we both decide... I am a down to earth woman (god we all say that don't we lol). I guess meaning I value my family,friends and life in general. I have learned that if you keep one foot in the past and one in the future you will never go forward. So I take each day and continue to move forward with both feet and enjoy all that life has to offer.(and there is a ton to enjoy) I love weekend getaways, heading out for the night, cooking together,or just relaxing cuddled up at home sharinga nice bottle of wine. My original goal was(certificate in Crim. and Business) was law , the system and had many yearsworking in the courts while going to college. And I am still hooked on changing our laws. Yet,I have remained in the Hospitality industry(Hotel)and have been on the management end for over 20 years now. Love it as it has worked for me. And have the opportunityto meet people from all over the world. I have a wonderful, close family,great friends, but feel someone is missing. I am looking for friendship at this time with hopes of it developing into something more down the road. I want to grow young with someone who wants just be spontaneous and just go with a whim whenwe want to. I have two wonderful children who are my life and I am am so proud to be their mom. And they are both very successful in life.They are at an age now they have lives of there own. I miss making lunches, being a taxi driver and all the responsibilties of a parent.Callme crazy.They will always remain my top priority. I do now though have time to share with someone special. A crazy romantic in many ways and love to spoil the one I am with. Been awhile so look out. One last note. I am in good shape, but still have the odd cigarette. I do understandthose that find it a bad quality and I respect that, as I am not very proud of it myself.But in the same respect I am happy with who I am. Lets meet and take it from there. I am not one to sit at Starbucks for hours. Would rather do a walk, meet for a bev,driving range, what ever we both decide. Just meet and see.

I'm a healthy, happy, honest person and would want the same in a partner (especially the honest part). I like to build/fix stuff in my spare time and am currently working on refinishing my living room...then the bathroom is next on the bucket list (needs an extreme makeover LOL)I have a kick ass sense of humor and love to laugh (and make a point of bringing a smile or chuckle to at least one person every day). I love freedom, but I'm focused in my commitments. I welcome inspiration and encouragement in keeping my body and mind flexible - and heart open. I celebrate health and happy looks; I only wear make-up on Halloween. I don't mind pulling on a sparkling dress, though - always good for a dance! (However, if you wish for some actual step pattern to be followed, training is needed.)I enjoy being light in the body and in the heart. I have a veggie/fish based diet, although I like quality meat on occasion as well. I eat well, but simple. Lightness of the heart comes from integrity and grateful wonder.I feel wonderfully ageless. My ongoing experience encompasses everything I've lived thus far and beyond. I can be 5 as naturally as I am 55 - perhaps even 105. I am astute and intuitive, and I practice these qualities to deepen them. I'm a self taught designer/builder. I'm visually and spatially oriented - in a big way! I live in a perpetual 'work in progress' scene. I thrive, when using my hands to manifest my visions. In the past, I taught weaving and other textile arts. I also spent a decade fixing an old house, which I embellished with home made stained glass windows and mosaics. I love gardens.English is my second language; my mother tongue is Finnish. I now study Spanish, too, as I like spending time in Latin America.I live in an active, experimental fashion, refining my direction as I go. As much as I like my own company, I'm passionate about authentic communication and supporting others in accessing their potential. I like volunteering for creative and socially progressive causes. Thanks for taking time to read my profile. I am a single parent who has raised my three kids and am now ready to start a life that is my own. I have made it a priority to find time to pursue my personal interests with the hopes of having someone to share those interests with. In the last year and a half I have found joy in developing my personal fitness through Zumba and joining a gym. Nothing better than getting in the car without a defined plan on a Sunday afternoon and driving! I enjoy the freedom that my teaching position offers me to explore new horizons. My friends and family are important to me and should be to you as well. My friends would say that I have a warm caring heart that I graciously share with others. This is a new chapter in my life that I intend to live fully! I love dancing, live music and have a "thing for cover bands" ! I love the outdoors. I spend a lot of time indoors with work and love to be outdoors for the weekends. I am hoping to find someone who will show me Tofino and take me camping.My golfing expertise begins and ends with Crazy Golf! I love C G because it makes me laugh!I visited South Africa and Malaysia. I have been in this beautiful city for 6 years now and I have found that it is difficult to meet people...Funny, I work in two environments where I am in contact with people all day (and half the night......) and yet I haven't found the guy for me.About me;I do work hard (see the two jobs reference above), am financially capable of taking care of myself and my children are all grown up so I am free to stay out all night if I choose!I am funny, compassionate, kind and a decent cook. I promise you won't be sorry if I invite you for a home cooked meal!About you;hard working, good cook, decent human being who loves music, kids (mine are grown but grandbabies are coming!) and animals.Oh, and, I cook fish, I eat fish, but I don't fish. This profile is about an intuitive & creative woman .... me. I'm a well grounded lady in search of that one man with whom I can find chemistry and compatibility . I am divorced and have been now for a number of years and have no children... so with that being said... I feel at this stage in life I would rather meet someone who's children are grown...( if you even have children at all) . Seeking a man that I can relate to ....and who can relate to me. I enjoy day trips and weekend getaways can be nice too just exploring what we have right here at home in our own backyard. I believe communication, honesty , loyalty and trust are absolutely essential in creating and sustaining a relationship.... without it... there is nothing... so there is no room for compromise in this area as I do know what is important to me, and with any luck, you would feel much the same way. I love to laugh, and enjoy most music. Easy to get along with, enjoy adventurous outings and spending time with family! Love being near the water and traveling when time permits. Theatre and movies are great for rainy nights or simply a change in pace. Hot cup of tea on a beautiful day...walking along the water's edge.
