My goal and has always been for some time to find a man with the same values in the sense of family. Has stability in all aspects.I own my own home and have a great job. I have learned that if you keep one foot in the past and one in the future you will never go forward. So I take each day and continue to move forward with both feet and enjoy all that life has to offer.(and there is a ton to enjoy) I love weekend getaways, heading out for the night, cooking together,or just relaxing cuddled up at home sharinga nice bottle of wine. My original goal was(certificate in Crim. and Business) was law , the system and had many yearsworking in the courts while going to college. And I am still hooked on changing our laws. Yet,I have remained in the Hospitality industry(Hotel)and have been on the management end for over 20 years now. Love it as it has worked for me. And have the opportunityto meet people from all over the world. I have a wonderful, close family,great friends, but feel someone is missing. I am looking for friendship at this time with hopes of it developing into something more down the road. I want to grow young with someone who wants just be spontaneous and just go with a whim whenwe want to. I have two wonderful children who are my life and I am am so proud to be their mom. And they are both very successful in life.They are at an age now they have lives of there own. I miss making lunches, being a taxi driver and all the responsibilties of a parent.Callme crazy.They will always remain my top priority. I do now though have time to share with someone special. A crazy romantic in many ways and love to spoil the one I am with. Been awhile so look out. One last note. I am in good shape, but still have the odd cigarette. I do understandthose that find it a bad quality and I respect that, as I am not very proud of it myself.But in the same respect I am happy with who I am. Lets meet and take it from there. I am not one to sit at Starbucks for hours. Would rather do a walk, meet for a bev,driving range, what ever we both decide. Just meet and see.

Yes, I know its not all fun and games.....really? Maybe I should get rid of some of my shoes (sandals, hiking boots,ski boots, runners, heels, curling, golf)? But then I wouldn't be smiling in my pictures. Yes, I do play hockey but not the kind you're thinking of. Looking forward to all the great fall and winter activities our beautiful province has to offer.Work lots with kids both in my job and also as a volunteer. It is always good to spend time with them.On the spiritual side, I think I qualify as a "twice a year Anglican"....also known as the "C and E" crowd! You?...well I was hoping for someone who strives to have a kind word and gentle hand.Long distance relationships have turned out to be not a good idea for me. Maybe they're not good for anyone? Truly, I am looking for a someone who really enjoys the same activities and adventures that I do (from mountaintops to ocean), good times with friends and family, comfortable in a crowd, meeting new people but appreciates the quiet and intimate times when its just the two of us. :)Was recently in a relay race with two ladies whose spouses were in the same event. I found myself totally envious of them. They had both found life partners who share the same adventures and love and support each other in their pursuits. As an outgoing person, I love exploring new places, meeting new people, learning about different cultures and learning new customs. Part of traveling that I also really enjoy is meeting the local people. I would rather walk in the residential part of town and take in a local tavern or pub than go to the tourist area where all the shops and restaurants are.Cooking is one of the pastimes I enjoy and I love to learn to cook new dishes. Over the years I have taken lessons in Chinese, Thai and East Indian cooking and have learned to make some German, British, Mexican and Italian dishes from friends and family. As a social person, I enjoy entertaining, having friends or family over for dinner, or a last minute pot luck or barbeque, or just hanging out with neighbours, friends and family.I enjoy the water whether it is strolling along the beach or being out in a vessel. I also like to fish and hopefully catch something fresh to prepare for dinner! Sailing is also something I have enjoyed in the past. It is truly magical out there! I love to watch whales and/or dolphins swimming alongside and playing in the bow wave of the boat or sea lions and seals basking in the sun on the shore of an isolated island, and the birds who swoop and play in the wind or dive after their prey or whatever you may have caught on your fishing line. LolMy music tastes are very broad, from a little bit of classical, jazz, the blues, to rock and roll, pop and country and yes, even some rap. I'm little more particular though with my rap tastes. I was raised in a musical family where we would get together with my aunts and uncles and cousins and the *** come out and we would sing and dance for hours!I am an animal lover and have two puppies, whom I love. Both of my dogs are quiet and non-shedding with Molly being a calm little girl who loves her walks, people in general and playtime in the backyard or livingroom. Bear is also a quiet and happy little guy. He too loves people and playing in whatever form it takes!As an outdoors person, I love doing pretty much anything out in the fresh air; from camping, walking, swimming, skiing, horseback riding and much more, plus I am usually game to try new things.My family is also very important to me. I have a wonderful son and two fabulous grandchildren who I adore. Unfortunately they live several hundred kilometers away so I only see them two or three times a year. My daughter and son-in-law live close by so I enjoy spending time with them and their two puppies, whenever our schedules allow.I am told by my friends that I have a good sense of humour and that I am warm, kind, playful, trust worthy, honest, thoughtful, and generous. Appearance is important to me, so I take care of my body and dress attactively, so I'm told. I like holding hands while out walking and feeling the tender touch of my partner. I give great massages and why stop at just the back? I love cuddling whether we're watching tv, or just chatting or sitting by the fire. I also love to dance. Why not a tender waltz at home after a candlelight dinner? Maybe more than one dance... or we could go to a place where there is a band playing and dance the night away.If you like what you have read above, please drop me a line!
