I love freedom, but I'm focused in my commitments. I welcome inspiration and encouragement in keeping my body and mind flexible - and heart open. I celebrate health and happy looks; I only wear make-up on Halloween. I don't mind pulling on a sparkling dress, though - always good for a dance! (However, if you wish for some actual step pattern to be followed, training is needed.)I enjoy being light in the body and in the heart. I have a veggie/fish based diet, although I like quality meat on occasion as well. I eat well, but simple. Lightness of the heart comes from integrity and grateful wonder.I feel wonderfully ageless. My ongoing experience encompasses everything I've lived thus far and beyond. I can be 5 as naturally as I am ***perhaps even 105. I am astute and intuitive, and I practice these qualities to deepen them. I'm a self taught designer/builder. I'm visually and spatially oriented - in a big way! I live in a perpetual 'work in progress' scene. I thrive, when using my hands to manifest my visions. In the past, I taught weaving and other textile arts. I also spent a decade fixing an old house, which I embellished with home made stained glass windows and mosaics. I love gardens.English is my second language; my mother tongue is Finnish. I now study Spanish, too, as I like spending time in Latin America.I live in an active, experimental fashion, refining my direction as I go. As much as I like my own company, I'm passionate about authentic communication and supporting others in accessing their potential. I like volunteering for creative and socially progressive causes. I don't have a TV.In my relationships: I'm delighted by lightness and nourished by substance. I share my feelings and steer away from judgement - for my own good.     Here goes for the last time.just for this month. Lets see if we can meet.. I was off here for a while, same reasons as everyone else. One more (last) try. I love to work on my house and my garden and my dog. Just started to golf and found I like it. Love road trips to any where, traveling some where new, How about a hike on one of our beautiful mountains, or a walk along the beach. Dinner in or dinner out and BBQ's. Cuddling up on a raining day and watching movies, getting a small surprise just to say thinking of you. I am open when you know me but shy to start, so give me a little time. I do have one dog which requires time and love, he is my boy and my best friend. Im looking for someone who looks after themselve just like I do.     As an outgoing person, I love exploring new places, meeting new people, learning about different cultures and learning new customs. Part of traveling that I also really enjoy is meeting the local people. I would rather walk in the residential part of town and take in a local tavern or pub than go to the tourist area where all the shops and restaurants are.Cooking is one of the pastimes I enjoy and I love to learn to cook new dishes. Over the years I have taken lessons in Chinese, Thai and East Indian cooking and have learned to make some German, British, Mexican and Italian dishes from friends and family. As a social person, I enjoy entertaining, having friends or family over for dinner, or a last minute pot luck or barbeque, or just hanging out with neighbours, friends and family.I enjoy the water whether it is strolling along the beach or being out in a vessel. I also like to fish and hopefully catch something fresh to prepare for dinner! Sailing is also something I have enjoyed in the past. It is truly magical out there! I love to watch whales and/or dolphins swimming alongside and playing in the bow wave of the boat or sea lions and seals basking in the sun on the shore of an isolated island, and the birds who swoop and play in the wind or dive after their prey or whatever you may have caught on your fishing line. LolMy music tastes are very broad, from a little bit of classical, jazz, the blues, to rock and roll, pop and country and yes, even some rap. I'm little more particular though with my rap tastes. I was raised in a musical family where we would get together with my aunts and uncles and cousins and the *** come out and we would sing and dance for hours!I am an animal lover and have two puppies, whom I love. Both of my dogs are quiet and non-shedding with Molly being a calm little girl who loves her walks, people in general and playtime in the backyard or livingroom. Bear is also a quiet and happy little guy. He too loves people and playing in whatever form it takes!As an outdoors person, I love doing pretty much anything out in the fresh air; from camping, walking, swimming, skiing, horseback riding and much more, plus I am usually game to try new things.My family is also very important to me. I have a wonderful son and two fabulous grandchildren who I adore. Unfortunately they live several hundred kilometers away so I only see them two or three times a year. My daughter and son-in-law live close by so I enjoy spending time with them and their two puppies, whenever our schedules allow.I am told by my friends that I have a good sense of humour and that I am warm, kind, playful, trust worthy, honest, thoughtful, and generous. Appearance is important to me, so I take care of my body and dress attactively, so I'm told. I like holding hands while out walking and feeling the tender touch of my partner. I give great massages and why stop at just the back? I love cuddling whether we're watching tv, or just chatting or sitting by the fire. I also love to dance. Why not a tender waltz at home after a candlelight dinner? Maybe more than one dance... or we could go to a place where there is a band playing and dance the night away.If you like what you have read above, please drop me a line!
