At my core I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. I spend my summer outside either at the pool, beach, or Kings Dominion. I grew up sailing, swimming, and skiing. Although I lead a very casual lifestyle, I do enjoy dressing up once in awhile, although I'm not a huge fan of heels (being 5'10" I don't really need them much). I am looking for someone who is up for an adventure (rollercoasters?) but also can relax at home for an evening. The only professional sport that I follow is the NFL. I do have a favorite team that I will tell you later. I make it to the gym ***times a week and this past April, I raced in my second 10K. I have been divorced for 7 years and there are no lingering issues with my ex. He is a great and involved father to our daughter and we co-parent quite well together. I know what I want and I know where I want my life to go. I believe that life IS the journey and not necessarily the destination. Bowling, Pool, or even Roller Skating...I'm not great at any of these but I'm not horrible either. I'm looking for something other than dinner to first meet someone.

As a first grade teacher I try to learn as much from my students, as they do from me. They are a daily reminder that life is fun, innocent and always should be lived to the fullest. Let's see... I am a fun, independent woman that would love to find someone to enjoy all the things life has to offer. I have 2 dogs and an old, great cat.
