I would describe myself as a kind, passionate, and unique person who is very down to earth and practical. I used to be a hippie in my previous life, but now living a pretty settled life. I am easy going but serious when I need to be. I love being silly with my daughter and have a pretty good sense of humor. I live life with passion and enjoy artistic expression. Lived in several states; moved around for college and teaching. Originally from the South. I am passionate about music and love to sing and can play guitar a little. I also like the Dalai Lama's work including The Art of Happiness, Ishamel, books on past lives, books by Chuck Klosterman, especially Killing Yourself to Live, Wild by Cheryl Strayed, etc. I read mostly non-fiction, especially biographies. Currently, I am reading the book, Outliers. I love, love movies! Classics include Shawshank Redemption, I am Sam, The Outsiders, Dead Man Walking, Into the Wild, Do the Right Thing, and so many more. As far as music, I love a whole range of artists. Blige, Adele, etc. I really love 90s alternative. What can I say, I am a GenXer. It would be nice to get to know someone and get together for a movie, concert, or dinner. For a first meeting, I think something casual like a bookstore or coffee shop is best.

I may seem like the typical girl next door, but my friends tell me I am one-of-a-kind! I have many interests that mostly involve some type of outdoor adventure with lots of grueling physical challenges..it doesn't stop me or slow me down. Some of my activities are rafting in my IK, hiking, snow shoeing, rock climbing, canyoneering, camping and cooking. I love to read and enjoy my quiet time as well as getting together with a group of friends and laughing it up. I am spontaneous and low maintenance. I can have my bags packed and out the door within a moment's notice. For bigger trips, I like to plan ahead and make things happen, not just talk about it with friends. Yes, I do own high heels and a dress. I am slender in build, but mostly athletic. Ive been away for a while, and my life is changing so quick, and along the way I desided I am so done with the hurt! I just want to live life the way it was meant to be lived! happen 9 innings at a time! I guess this is where I spin you a story that makes you want to get to know me better. Unfortunately, though I love to read and love a good story, I'm not that good at telling them or spinning them. With me, it's pretty much, what you see is what you get. I'm mostly just looking to find a best friend, someone to talk to, hang out with, catch a Naturals game, watch the Sooners play some football, basketball, or baseball, go to a movie or maybe even go fishing! If something more comes later, then great, if not..then life goes on, but my life will be richer for having someone to hang out with. I love sports, watching, debating, playing, whatever...My favorite sport is pretty much determined by what season it is. Well, that's mostly true, I'm probably more of a baseball fan than anything. My favorite teams are obviously the NWA Naturals, OU Sooners as well as the KC Royals, (yeah, they break my heart every year, but I've been a fan my entire life, so what can I do?-maz-ing!! What else? Let's see, family is probably the most important thing in life. My goal in life is to spoil them rotten, but so far, they're all pretty decent kids so I still have some work to do. This may sound bad, but I take great pride in the fact that they beg me to come for a visit and cry when it's time for me to leave. I'm really lucky to be so blessed with a wonderful family that while we argue and get on each other's nerves at times, we're all pretty close and live in the same area.. We were raised that family comes first and to be there when needed. I know people that don't even talk to their siblings or their parents and that just blows my mind. I thank God every day that if I'm feeling blue or need something, it's only a call away.What else?. pretty much depends on the mood I'm in. I love listening to talk radio, whether it's sports or politics. I'd argue with a fence post if it'd argue back and I have a pretty definite opinion on most things in life and I'm not afraid to tell you. I am a little shy, especially when first meeting someone. I don't like the bar scene, too loud, too crowded, and too intimidating. I love music, I'll listen to almost anything, but if it's my choice, I choose country. And I sing, not well either.. I'm just warning you, it can be atrocious, although I haven't made anyone's ears bleed, yet! I can't really think of anything else that you're dying to know. I was raised on a farm and am a country girl at heart. I'm pretty much a tomboy, I love sports and don't mind gettin' dirty though I can sure be a girly girl when I want to be. I try to take each day as it comes and enjoy it while it's here cause life's too short not to spend it smiling! Since the best things in life happen 9 innings at a time, the perfect date just might begin with a baseball game!
