Getting a lot of messages asking if I am actually 28, yes I am, I know I look younger but it will be a blessing when i'm 40 and still look 30!!I just moved and have been very busy so haven't had a lot of time to check my messages so if I haven't replied sorry! I am an Educational Assistant I work in a high school and work one on one with students with learning disabilities as well as behaviour problems, autism etc. I have been working as an EA for 4 years.There is a lot this city has to offer but I need someone who wants to go out and do things. I am a picky eater so trying new foods is not something I am really into. Most evenings I am relaxing at home with my dog watching tv. I would like to get out of the house though and do new things! My favorites now are, Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, True Blood, Tosh.0, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, and The Vampire Diaries. I also have a netflix account and like watching old tv shows. I recently watched every episode of Saved by the Bell. :)I'm a huge zombie fanatic. I don't think that a zombie apocalypse if out of the question and if it does happen I'm definitely prepared.To be honest (gosh I hate when people put that on facebook), I'm not happy with myself right now. I am overweight but I have currently dropped some friends that were holding me back from being happy and I'm finally in a good place. I have started working out and eating healthy. Last year I participated in two 5k's (walking with my aunt) and my goal is to completely run/jog my next one this summer, and I'm well on my way to being able to accomplish that. I need someone that will motivate me to stay in the gym and eat healthy so I can reach my goals. I'd rather someone meet me now and get to know me before the pounds start falling off so they'll not just be attracted to me because of my body. Cause I got to tell you... when I meet my goal if any of the dirt bags that passed me up because I'm not a size 2 contact me I'll be laughing and saying no thank you. :) I've been burnt in past relationships. ...I am 26 with one child. I work full time and go to school at nite. My goal is to graduate by 2015 with my bachelors of science in criminal justice and work for the state. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my son, watching him play ball, going to the drag strip (racing), shopping (what woman doesn't like shopping right?:), watching movies, and just chilling. Number one: Music is my everything. I'm currently attending school for Music Therapy. I believe in the healing aspect of all types of artistry and am just trying to save the world. One melody at a time. ;-PHaving said that. If you dare read farther I will tell you just a few things I feel you must know.I'm all about living my life day to day. Just trying to enjoy the beautiful things. I don't like games but then again everyone on here says that. I will prove it. :-)I enjoy going out with friends, watching movies and tv, playing and listening to music, anything outdoors. I have a pretty boring job so I like my personal life to be spontaneous and full of unexpected adventures. But if you sit at a desk staring at a computer screen all day...you understand!!! :-PI have a very select group of friends but they are my support system. I have done and will continue to do everything in my power to make sure they are healthy and happy. I treat them as they are my family since I don't have too much of a real one to count on. But at least I have my mother. She is my rock. My backbone. I'm a free spirit and will do just about anything once. Otherwise, how else do you know you like something unless you try it? That is of course unless I'm allergic to it. But so far, no known allergies except for bee stings and a really old asthma medication. lol.I will randomly burst into song and dance whenever I see fit. Whenever I have free time I like to enjoy a good book. My favorite part of the day is going to the library to sit there and read it. It's rare to find people who do that anymore but I'm there almost every day. I love to go for bike rides, walks, picnics, anything involving water. I'm very adventurous so if you are too, jump in and enjoy the ride. :-DRecently I've begun to change how I view the world. I used to think that it was all about fate. That destiny has planned everything out and we're just along for the ride. What a bunch of bull!! I now believe fate leads you in a direction but it is and will always be your choice on what path you take. Being happy is all in the mind and it takes a lot more work to miserable so why let the little things get you down? Even though its impossible to not be affected. We all have disappointments in our lives that do upset, but its how you react to them that shows true character.I haven't had much luck in the dating scene so I'm giving this a try to see if anything comes of it. I'm a laid back person who just enjoys to laugh. Key point right here. Laughter is the key to my heart.
