So here are my general thoughts on online dating. I see this as quite simply a way of meeting people that you might get along with (and possibly date) who you wouldn't have met otherwise. I'm not a big fan of the whole, let's do all the small talk online or over the phone - isn't that what first dates are supposed to be for? Plus then, at least if there is no connection you haven't already used up all the easy topics! I say, if we think we might have a connection, let's just meet, have a drink, and maybe see where things go. As Popeye would say, "I y'am what I y'am." I'm passionate about what I care about, empathetic, I try not to take myself or the world too seriously and I can easily laugh and myself and the ridiculous that is life sometimes, and I'm looking for someone who can as well. Overall, I'm looking for a guy who is witty, fun, and who could never be described as generic. I love intelligence without pretentiousnes and kindness with a sense of humor. Though it doesn't need to happen tomorrow, ultimately I am looking for a relationship and I'm looking for someone who wants the same. On a lighter note... "This guy goes to a psychiatrist and says, "Doc, my brother's crazy; he thinks he's a chicken." And the doctor says, "Well, why don't you turn him in?" The guy says, "I would, but I need the eggs." Food: Sushi, Steak, Wine, Cheese, Bacon Other Stuff: Sociology, Fresh Flowers, Organization Stores (it's weird, I know), Flea Markets, Photography, Animals, Brunch Generally I like to meet somewhere for drinks and apps, if we like each other, we can continue to dinner, if not, we go our separate ways!

Apparently I was enlisted in the "catch & release" section of this website the first time around, so, here we go again :)I'd like to meet someone to spend time with, with the common goal of it being a long term thing. Things need to have progressed on to separate homes, lawyers, etc. To my CT Fishies: You get included in my search (and vice versa) because no one takes into consideration that there is a large body of water between us. Sorry, but, that body of water IS in the way! Cocktails. Takes the nervous edge off (im NOT an alcoholic sillyheads!) Somewhere not too loud; need to be able to have a conversation. Laughter is a must. If all goes well, then perhaps some dinner, or more drinks, or both. Some dancing thrown in would be just lovely. I'm pretty laid back and just go with the flow after that, but this is kind of a must for the FIRST date. Second dates are good for things like bowling (I have my own ball & shoes because I kinda rock!), mini golf, a picnic, etc. Please take note: coming to your house to 'watch a movie' is NOT a date (& is not happening the first time(s) we meet)
