For a 1st time meet a coffee or are drink a fine & low cost so that way you don't feel like I'm out to get you for what you may have. I'm not like that. I don't want to spend a lot of time on a 1st meet. I like to keep it simple and let first impressions do the work and decide if I or if you would like to meet again. After that I'd be open to lunch or dinner, or even meeting for a drink. A picnic in the park is fine too. Meeting for a walk on the trail is a nice idea. Not a movie, I can't get to know you. Not at neithers home, too private & comes with bad intentions. Not a sporting event, I'd be more involved in the game, lol. The batting cages would be cool though. I am competative. I'd love to see how many more balls I hit. Bowling could be fun. I prefer not a club, it's too loud & I can't get to know you that way either. I'm not into guys who bring a dozen roses, it's too pushy in my opinion & I feel it comes with expectations. I single flower is appropriate with me. I don't need or require anything flashy. I'm more about the thought & effort put into the date. DO NOT ASK FOR SEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't stress this enough! If you come with intentions I promise to send you packing. I'm not looking for a jerk who's looking to score! I deserve & demand respect!!I am a bit old fashion when it comes to dating. I like my door opened for me, help with my coat & chair, mostly you picking the date in the begining, & a like a guy who doesn't go for the "1st move", I'll let you know when I'm ready. When I know you're someone I'm interested in you'll be the first to know. Politeness goes a long way as well as manners. I like to have fun too but I'm looking for that special someone. I hope to find Mr. Right, not Mr. Right Now. For all those who don't understand or know how to treat a woman, save us both the hassle & don't take the time to message. So here are my general thoughts on online dating. I see this as quite simply a way of meeting people that you might get along with (and possibly date) who you wouldn't have met otherwise. I'm not a big fan of the whole, let's do all the small talk online or over the phone - isn't that what first dates are supposed to be for? Plus then, at least if there is no connection you haven't already used up all the easy topics! I say, if we think we might have a connection, let's just meet, have a drink, and maybe see where things go. As Popeye would say, "I y'am what I y'am." I'm passionate about what I care about, empathetic, I try not to take myself or the world too seriously and I can easily laugh and myself and the ridiculous that is life sometimes, and I'm looking for someone who can as well. Overall, I'm looking for a guy who is witty, fun, and who could never be described as generic. I love intelligence without pretentiousnes and kindness with a sense of humor. Though it doesn't need to happen tomorrow, ultimately I am looking for a relationship and I'm looking for someone who wants the same. On a lighter note... Apparently I was enlisted in the "catch & release" section of this website the first time around, so, here we go again :)I'd like to meet someone to spend time with, with the common goal of it being a long term thing. I'm pretty laid back and just go with the flow after that, but this is kind of a must for the FIRST date. Second dates are good for things like bowling (I have my own ball & shoes because I kinda rock!), mini golf, a picnic, etc. Please take note: coming to your house to 'watch a movie' is NOT a date (& is not happening the first time(s) we meet)
