But I'm also 27 and starting to feel like I want to plant some roots. Buy a house, have a dog, a garden etc. And I want a partner in crime to cuddle and share moments with.My friends would call me a hippy. And I can't say I disagree. I'm here to meet new people, and hopefully make some new friends. I love sports, so that's a good place to start. I like watching movies. It's something I didn't do a lot of when I was younger, so I'm playing catch up at this point. I've got a few favorites, but there are still a TON that I want to watch. My top 5 consists of Fearless, Awakenings, The Big Lebowski, The Dark Knight, and Dog Day Afternoon. My tastes vary, and I can appreciate anything from a slapstick stupid comedy to a serious drama and everything in between. I'm not crazy about horror flicks, but I'll watch them from time to time. I'm also an avid fan of music, like most people. My favorite bands/artists are The Lumineers, Sublime, CCR, Jim Croce, and The Beatles. I love the older stuff, but I'll still listen to stuff that's playing on the radio today. I try not to be a music snob and keep an open mind about things. I am fluent in 2 languages right now. English and American Sign Language. (Yay, deaf parents!) I'm planning on going to school to become an interpreter. I'm planning on learning Spanish so I can be a tri-lingual interpreter. It'll be a fun gig. I'm open to trying new things. I like to learn new things every day, so if you're similar, that would be awesome. I like to go out and explore when the weather is nice enough. I love playing in the rain. I'm a fan of spring and summer - partly for the weather, partly for the fact that that's baseball season.I really just want to meet new people. I have a car, job, and my own place. I prefer that you have the same. Ultimately, I'd like to be in a relationship, but it's not an urgent thing, and I'd rather have it feel natural than forced. I want a good guy who will show me that he appreciates me, and cares for me. Why is that so hard to find? If you're interested, send me a message! My preferred first date would be something where we could talk and get to know each other. Maybe bowling or mini-golf or something along those lines. If you really want to surprise me, take me to some batting cages so we can hit some baseballs! I used to play softball as a kid, and I loved it. After that, a picnic at a quiet location would be ideal. I'm kind of tired of the cliche dinner and a movie or coffee. Let's do something different!

I'm a down to earth girl looking for someone to sweep me off my feet. I'm not spoiled. I don't think that men always have to pay, open doors, or pull out my chair but if it happens I'm definitely not going to complain. My family and close friends are my life. My favorites now are, Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, True Blood, Tosh.0, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, and The Vampire Diaries. I also have a netflix account and like watching old tv shows. I recently watched every episode of Saved by the Bell. :)I'm a huge zombie fanatic. I don't think that a zombie apocalypse if out of the question and if it does happen I'm definitely prepared.To be honest (gosh I hate when people put that on ***, I'm not happy with myself right now. I am overweight but I have currently dropped some friends that were holding me back from being happy and I'm finally in a good place. I have started working out and eating healthy. Last year I participated in two 5k's (walking with my aunt) and my goal is to completely run/jog my next one this summer, and I'm well on my way to being able to accomplish that. I need someone that will motivate me to stay in the gym and eat healthy so I can reach my goals. I'd rather someone meet me now and get to know me before the pounds start falling off so they'll not just be attracted to me because of my body. Cause I got to tell you... when I meet my goal if any of the dirt bags that passed me up because I'm not a size 2 contact me I'll be laughing and saying no thank you. :) I've been burnt in past relationships. I do my best to help people out and make the people around me happy. Unfortunately the last one didn't appreciate my love too much. I do have a lot of love to give, just need to find the right guy to give it to. I would be up for anything as long as it doesn't involve a movie and we are in a place that conversation can be held. For a first date you need to be able to talk to the person you are with and you can't do that in the theater, unless you want to get yelled at and have popcorn thrown at you! I do however like to be surprised.
