What are my interests?I LOVE to travel....the world is a big place with lots to see. I enjoy most kinds of music. I like to stay active... I enjoy the outdoors; however, snow??? not so much. Getting to the gym on a regular basis is very important to me. I believe staying healthy and fit brings about positive energy. I consider myself very personable. I make friends easily and am very loyal. Among many things I have learned from past relationships and experiences, there are a couple that stick out.... appreciate and respect what you have, and.... pick your battles because no one is perfect ;) surprise me!

Hello. Been back in the dating scene for a short time. It is sure different this time around. I have 3 children who I have 50% of the time. They r my priority in life but feel my time is important too. I love to go out dancing but enjoy a quite night at home too. Sometimes I like to keep the fun mellow ---shooting pool at pub. I like meeting people. I think interactions with others only enhances life but I believe physical attraction is important in a relationship. The biggest comment I get when I meet some one new is that I look exactly like my pictures. I expect the same in return. I do not believe that the first date has to be this BIG ordeal. Coffee or a drink at a restaurant or bar is all two people need to figure out if they are attracted to one another.

I have all the basics, the home, the car and the job! Though I have never been married, I do have a wonderful son who is grown and in collage. I would like to meet a man that wants to share my wealth but at the same time finds the need to provide those basic needs that a woman still desires, including but not limited to.. Friendship, romance, House hold duties and yard work! I find those qualities as strength in a man and it provides me with security knowing that when I'm experiencing some distress i can count on some support! If you can open the jar because the lid is on to tight! You just might be the one! I'm not looking for a freeloader or a couch potato, those are a dime a dozen... Just someone to share there heart, thoughts and helping hand! Yeah! A nice walk & lunch or coffee and people people watching in the city!

About me... I'm not high-maintenance or materialistic...so my goal in life is not to own a lot of expensive things, but to have a really big photo album full of memories. I am a hopeful romantic who believes that there are good guys out there...somewhere. I'm hoping you are one of them. Most of the time, I am up for pretty much anything and I love to go see/go do. My perfect guy? He'll be young at heart, outdoorsy, athletic, up for anything, can make me laugh, is kind to others and doesn't want kids. Let's find out! Obviously, a we need to see if there is any chemistry in person. So, a quick beer with the option for a couple more and a heated game of darts. Maybe I'll let you win.

-40, triceps, pineapple, pizza. I got into competitive powerlifting a couple of years ago, and despite my size (I'm 5'4", 130 lbs), I have had some success at local and national meets and am happy with the level of strength and overall fitness I've achieved. I compete with a phenomenal group of men and women who have become a second family to me. I love art and music; I make the first and appreciate the second, although I was force-fed piano lessons as a kid and am pretty sure I'd be a kick-ass xylophone player. I make a lot of large pieces of visual art for friends and family, and recently (finally!) set up my own studio so I can start selling some of my work.I am a writer and have worked professionally in the TV industry as well as written for magazines and stuff (no, not Penthouse Forum). I have a day job that I love, but have considered moving on to another profession at some point, although there aren't many jobs out there. I'm a licensed bartender but have never held a job doing that. I'm thinking about a switch to a fitness career.I have a dry sense of humor, but enjoy all sorts of movies and TV shows. As much as I enjoy reading, art, and music, I also enjoy great movies and TV--especially funny stuff like Arrested Development, The League, Weeds, and Parks and Rec. I love Will Ferrell movies--maybe they're not high art, but sometimes I just want to laugh!My dog is my regular companion, and I hope to meet another dog-parent or at least someone who also loves the company of dogs and other animals. If you're picky about dog hair and drool, I'm probably not the woman for you... I enjoy plays and live theater, especially improv, although I have trouble sitting still (not medically, I'm just a fidgety person--rather be doing than watching) and like venues like the Upfront and the Triple Door where there's space for socializing.I am a TERRIBLE dancer, but that doesn't mean I won't hit the dance floor for fun! And I'm highly trainable, so if you've got moves, I'm open to lessons. Fortunately, I'm in good physical shape and I'm not that heavy, so what I lack in grace I make up for in general delicacy, and I clean up real nice, so I'll at least look halfway decent in a dress, in your arms, on the dance floor!

Random insights you may or may not feel are important:I am a confident, friendly, optimistic, and outgoing woman. I have two children; 11 year old boy and 13 year old girl. They are curly haired crazy people, but to me they are perfect. However, as the teen years approach, I am seriously considering incorporating duct tape in my child rearing strategies.I’m a bit of scifi nerd… I know the meaning of life is 42 and that Firefly was the best show ever! I have zero domestic skills. Now I know what you’re thinking, “wow, accounting is hot”. Well, you’re right… not as hot as the library sciences, but really who can compete with glasses on a chain. I love to travel! I try to take a “big” trip at least once a year. I love the energy of both places. My new favorite place of all time is Caye Caulker, Belize. No cars, no roads, just a small island with beach, water, and friendly people.I am not looking for a hookup, but thank you for the offer.I am not at all religious, but again, thank you for the offer.I have a minor (well maybe not so minor) caffeine addiction; a 16 oz, vanilla, non fat, triple addiction to be exact. :)Let me know if you are interested in any additional random insights.
