About Me

Random insights you may or may not feel are important:I am a confident, friendly, optimistic, and outgoing woman. I have two children; 11 year old boy and 13 year old girl. They are curly haired crazy people, but to me they are perfect. However, as the teen years approach, I am seriously considering incorporating duct tape in my child rearing strategies.I’m a bit of scifi nerd… I know the meaning of life is 42 and that Firefly was the best show ever! I have zero domestic skills. Now I know what you’re thinking, “wow, accounting is hot”. Well, you’re right… not as hot as the library sciences, but really who can compete with glasses on a chain. I love to travel! I try to take a “big” trip at least once a year. I love the energy of both places. My new favorite place of all time is Caye Caulker, Belize. No cars, no roads, just a small island with beach, water, and friendly people.I am not looking for a hookup, but thank you for the offer.I am not at all religious, but again, thank you for the offer.I have a minor (well maybe not so minor) caffeine addiction; a 16 oz, vanilla, non fat, triple addiction to be exact. :)Let me know if you are interested in any additional random insights. Good luck fishing and have a great day!

Woman. 45 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.

Looking for: man. In age: 42-52

-40, triceps, pineapple, pizza. I got into competitive powerlifting a couple of years ago, and despite my size (I'm 5'4", ***lbs), I have had some success at local and national meets and am happy with the level of strength and overall fitness I've achieved. I compete with a phenomenal group of men and women who have become a second family to me. I love art and music; I make the first and appreciate the second, although I was force-fed piano lessons as a kid and am pretty sure I'd be a kick-ass xylophone player. I make a lot of large pieces of visual art for friends and family, and recently (finally!) set up my own studio so I can start selling some of my work.I am a writer and have worked professionally in the TV industry as well as written for magazines and stuff (no, not Penthouse Forum). I have a day job that I love, but have considered moving on to another profession at some point, although there aren't many jobs out there. I'm a licensed bartender but have never held a job doing that. I'm thinking about a switch to a fitness career.I have a dry sense of humor, but enjoy all sorts of movies and TV shows. As much as I enjoy reading, art, and music, I also enjoy great movies and TV--especially funny stuff like Arrested Development, The League, Weeds, and Parks and Rec. I love Will Ferrell movies--maybe they're not high art, but sometimes I just want to laugh! My dog is my regular companion, and I hope to meet another dog-parent or at least someone who also loves the company of dogs and other animals. If you're picky about dog hair and drool, I'm probably not the woman for you... I enjoy plays and live theater, especially improv, although I have trouble sitting still (not medically, I'm just a fidgety person--rather be doing than watching) and like venues like the Upfront and the Triple Door where there's space for socializing.I am a TERRIBLE dancer, but that doesn't mean I won't hit the dance floor for fun! And I'm highly trainable, so if you've got moves, I'm open to lessons. Fortunately, I'm in good physical shape and I'm not that heavy, so what I lack in grace I make up for in general delicacy, and I clean up real nice, so I'll at least look halfway decent in a dress, in your arms, on the dance floor!

This is the fun part! I am a widow! I loss him to pancreatic cancer. We were married for 15 years and he give me three beautiful boys. They are my world. We keep busy with school and sports. If I find someone to date and have fun with that would be great. I am no rush to remarry. Looking for someone who makes me laugh. Some one who can be a positive role model for my boys. I am financially secure! I enjoy camping, cooking, family and friends! I have been doing yoga and running! I have ran a few 5ks and would like to have someone who would like to run or go and support me! Thanks for looking! ! Not interested in games, drama, or fake profiles! If something more comes out of friendship great! No expectations just easier that way! We could go to lunch, have coffee or just go do something fun.

~~Me~~3 Compationate, caring and funny....so I'm told. :***I'm a BBW that is comfortable in her skin yet is not defined by my looks....there is way more to me than that.3 I like to be outdoors going new places and trying new things....let's go camping!3 Family oriented- I'm a single mom of 4 great kids and I use to be a foster parent.3 I'm crafty and can hold my own in the kitchen.3 I enjoy go thrift store shopping and couponing .....but I'm not obsessed with it, just enjoy a good deal.3 I love listening to music, going out dancing, going to shows, movies, comedy clubs, traveling, casinos, weekend trips...~~What I'm looking for~~*must be single!!! I don't play games and expect the same in return.*someone that is funny and can make me laugh*honest and loyal and treats woman with respect*caring, compationate and trustworthy*someone that wants to build a great friendship that then can develop into a great relationship*someone that has goals and is self sufficent.*likes to conversate and is open *is a good listenerI believe messaging and texting are great ways to communicate at first but I think that if there is a mutual connection then meeting face to face is the goal. I also believe that messaging and texting or phone calls should be mutual....I don't think anyone likes to be the one to always initiate the conversation. Everyone loves a "good morning" text or a spontanious "hey how's your day going" message. I've learned a lot from dating the past couple of years and definatly know what I do and do not want. I tend to be attracted to african-american men(just a preference) but not exclusively.Good luck finding what you're looking for....I think that is something everyone deserves. Prolly dancing on table tops, bungi jumping or sky diving......lol.
