Ok...here goes... I'm cheerful, friendly and positive and probably laugh too much. I don't deal much (if at all) in anger and hostility. Not sure I have those 'parts'. lol. I don't think being mad is ever an excuse to be mean. Though I AM what the "few extra pounds" category should be for. But I've finally accepted the 'POF reality' (lol) that here, that category tends to mean something else altogether. People are busy. I don't want to disrespect anyone's time by pretending to be something I'm not. My pics are very recent... None of the ones that make me hit 'delete' with frightening speed - lol... Brief update.....certainly attraction and a good kisser is a plus, but I want to find someone that I can have a decent conversation with about anything and everything... I don't like the idea of going to dinner, or sitting at home and having nothing to say to each other.. silent moments are great too, but not due to the inability to converse with that special person... Just starting to learn my way around... Love my job; I like all types of music, except maybe hardcore rap and twangy country. I listen mostly to country, classic rock and contemporary christian. I love to see bands in small venues. Don't mind a large concert, but prefer smaller local settings. People say i have a great sense of humor. My humor is dry, witty, sarcastic, and occasionally lame...I often put my foot in my mouth by saying something that can be twisted to have another meaning... :( I enjoy being with people who also enjoy having fun..in high school... Would like to start traveling again with someone who enjoys taking trips..long or short, planned or spontaneous, roughing it or staying in a nice resort. I enjoy any type of water activity, including kayaking, swimming, boating, or just tubing down a river. I love the beach, but enjoy the mountains just as well. Haven't been skiing in at least 5 years-- would love to go again soon. I have recently returned to the gym -- I walk to work when the weather (and my alarm clock) allow. My favorite (non x-rated---lol--just a joke to lighten the mood) indoor hobby is cooking. I love trying to create new dishes, and experiencing many different ethnic foods --cooking and eating. I am not sure what "average" body type is--I am by no means a barbie doll-- haven't been since college-- my pictures are recent-- I believe my size is apparent in the photos. Give me a chance..don't overlook me unless you truly want a wafe of a girl standing next to you rather than a natural normal person who chooses personality over physical. I understand...there has to be some attraction...but there is so much more that goes into attraction.. What do I look for in a guy? if you are considering the physical, the most important feature to me is a person's smile. Eyes are best when the sides crinkle from a genuine smile. I do not have a specific "type" that I am looking for -- clean cut, a little facial hair, a good ole country boy by night, professional by day, a hard worker, in whatever job you have. A bad boy, nice guy, a combination of both... just someone who is legit... I like for someone to be educated, whether by the school of life or university. I don't care how much money you make, or what kind of car/truck you drive-- as long as you can support yourself, don't live in your parents basement. What am I looking for in a relationship? I am looking for a real relationship, but that has to start off somewhere. i am not looking for casual sex--However, that being said, I am looking for someone to enjoy all aspects of a relationship with. I do want intimacy. But please don't expect or ask for s-e-x on the first date....really??? I enjoy holding hands and kissing, snuggling on the couch. If you aren't into PDA's,(and by that, i mean holding hands, kissing--maybe not so much that others are screaming "get a room") I may not be the one for you-- if i enjoy being with you, why would i want to hide that? When I find someone who I'd like to see again (and the feeling is mutual--doesn't it suck when it isn't??), I'm finished on POF-- If you are interested in a second date, say so-- and while I don't require constant attention-- texts every hour, or even every day, if you want to try to start something, communication is key-- certainly we will exchange numbers, and TALK before meeting, and hopefully continue to talk after. Don't play...I'm interested in meeting sometime to see if there is more...if you want to take a chance..let's do it..if you read all that-- maybe we should talk -- send a me a message. ps.. I love the rain, especially thunder storms. If you want to talk, and you really read this far, send me a message and and mention the rain!! I'd like to go somewhere different... Dinner is great..love good food, but would like to add something fun...an outdoor concert or sporting event...bowling, putt putt..something we can laugh about because we both suck...not somewhere for you to show off your skills, lets just have fun and laugh...id like to go to a shooting range...need to learn how to shoot sometime...have my own golf clubs,.but have never been golfing...there's a thought...if the attraction if there, take my hand, kiss me goodnight, maybe before goodnight.... Be sincere...I have found that eye contact usually means someone is interested, avoiding it means i may not be. If you are uncomfortable telling me in person that you aren't interested in a second date, then save it for a message the next day-- but don't leave me hanging, and I will do the same for you.
