Ok...here goes... I'm cheerful, friendly and positive and probably laugh too much. I don't deal much (if at all) in anger and hostility. Not sure I have those 'parts'. lol. Though I AM what the "few extra pounds" category should be for. But I've finally accepted the 'POF reality' (lol) that here, that category tends to mean something else altogether. People are busy. I don't want to disrespect anyone's time by pretending to be something I'm not. My pics are very recent... None of the ones that make me hit 'delete' with frightening speed - lol... I'm a divorced mom of two, one grown, one at home who is 12 and knows everything, lol. While the profile doesn't let me select "curvy" as an option, that's more my body type and I enjoy all the curves I have. Starting a new career and life. I value honesty,loyalty and must have sense of humor. Though age is not the only factor, I prefer dating men younger than me, usually in their thirties but not always. I still feel very young at heart and love things such as a nice drive at night, kicking butt in a go cart, love all kinds of music and movies. Happy to go out but just as happy to snuggle up at home and enjoy a good meal, movie and/or just enjoying chit chatting when I feel a good connection with someone. My love of music is so broad it's hard to describe. I can listen and enjoy something from just about every genre. I like the guy to make the plans but as I have said, it doesn't have to be anything fancy but on the other hand, while I enjoy a hamburger,mcdonalds probably wouldn't make a good impression. First dates are tough so if it's something kinda low key where we can both feel relaxed that would be best. I don't think of myself as high maintenance and I'm not looking for a man that is, either. I would like to get to know the person a little bit before a first date.

What do we do, where do we go to meet single, down to earth, intelligent people? Is it p.o.f., who knows?I'm an intelligent, funny, French Acadian. If you didn't notice my height, I'm a petite woman. I like reading and writing, just not writing about myself. I like cooking, watching movies, having a few drinks with family and friends.
