It's time to do an update -- Ok -- Here goes.....Most people say that I'm basicly laid back and easy going (I get along with pretty much everybody) I am quite content to put on a pair of jeans, comfy shirt, and hang out at home or with friends ***Maybe, dinner and a movie or dancing, concert, social night out with friends. A romantic surprise night out with that someone special would be fun too. I would like to travel and experience new things that I've never done. I use to go to the gym and work out 3 or 4 times a week when my kids were in school. I would like to get back into exercising on a regular basis and it would be nice to have someone to do it with.People don't meet the same way they did the last time I was dating. So, I thought I would just go with the flow and give this social networking a try. I just don't know if I know how. I would like to meet soneone who shares some of the same likes and interest that I do. They need to willing and able to put forth the effort it takes to have a loving and intimate relationship. There needs to be a physical attraction and the chemistry that goes with it. I believe that a kiss is a true test of that and can also be a deal breaker. I'm sorry if that makes me sound shallow, but I need that. All of that being said, first we need to develop a genuine friendship. It takes time, but it's worth it in the end. I just want to take it slow (cause I wouldn't want to miss a thing).I was married for 23 years and I've been on my own for the last couple of years. It's time to start the next chapter in my life. I would like to expand my friends and family. And when I say family, I mean it. I lost both of my parents and a sibling in the 90's. I love kids and animals. I have a dog, a cat, and a sugar glider. And I can't forget to mention my two boys. They may be full grown, but they still light up my life.Ok, I know this is getting a little long and if I keep going I might lose your attention. Greetings to all of you gentleman out there. I suppose I need to let you know a little about myself, at least that's what this says I'm suppose to do. :) Well, to start things off, I like being a girlie girl and yet I'm still a tough little cookie - I just survived a copperhead bite...YEP, and I LIVED TO TELL ABOUT IT! LOL...Put me out of work for 3 weeks, but now i'm back and still pushing forward and working hard.These days it seems so hard to find love again...I don't know about you, but I believe honesty is the best policy and I'm praying that something good happens this year. . Hopefully the good Lord will grant some of us those wishes we have to be with another to share life with. Its not fun anymore being alone. I may not be 5'10 and a "barbie doll", but I am a woman that is true to one man, that is honest, that has a big heart to love someone that would love me back the very best that I can. I would like to embrace someone to love for the rest of my days on earth. Should he have a family, that would be the icing on the cake. I'm not one to get angry quickly, i will listen to someone elses troubles with an open heart and i promise to be as honest as the day is long. I dont like hurtful people and I truly strive to be one that shows a loving heart and a helping hand at all times.I am a transplant from NJ/PA but dont hold it against me - I LEFT! LOL....i enjoy a good sense of humor. I enjoy making people feel at home and I like to entertain and have picnics and so on. I do alot of trail riding and would like to find someone to share that part of my life with. Its not fun riding with all my friends that are "couples" and i'm always the 3rd wheel. Horses are a big part of my life and I also have several dogs. They are all rescues. I have been a massage therapist for the last 24 years and I am presently pursuing going back to school for my last career in Equine Facilitated Therapy. I know the connection between horses and people with disabilities or traumas is extremely effective and I want to be a part of it.I have always dreamed about having a place where my rescue animals could be part of the healing process for children that have been abused and have emotional issues. I have seen the great breakthroughs that animals can make with these kids, its very interesting and so important to them both. But this takes a special kind of man to put up with my special kind of life....are you up for it, would you like to share in it?I am a very active person - I work hard and I like to go do things from trail riding to going to the lake.i love a guy with a great mustache and boots and that smells really good...oh my...LOLI have to add here that i have talked to many men and think I am sooo far away - but if the right one were to have the right connection with me - together we could figure something out. I am very very willing to move. I have no family here and moving would be just the next chapter leading to a happy life together.Thank you for reading this and taking the time to connect. I am an artist and am pretty ecclectic when it comes to my interests ... from art, to live music, to theater, to sports, to working in my yard. Kindness and compassion matter and are certainly characteristics I am looking for. I love to laugh and would like to meet someone who has a great sense of humor and can find the humor in most things. I can also be a bit nerdy at times, I guess, since I love to read and enjoy learning ... I never wanted my college experience to end. If you care about others and can be described as a real sweetheart by your friends, we will probably get along just fine. To me it doesn't really matter what the activity is for a first date. It is more important to have a connection to the person you are with. It could be something as simple as meeting for a cup of coffee, and if the connection is there, you know it. I do enjoy having time to talk and get to know you a bit better.
