I think I hate these "write about who you are" boxes more than snakes...how do you portray who you are in a few random sentences? Well here it goes...I like to do many different things and cannot say that I have "hobbies" because I get bored if I do one thing all the time. I love reading and am a history nerd (kinda have to be since I teach it). Love the beach, the pool, summer, drinking with friends, the lake, and doing active things outdoors. I'm a dork and extremely sarcastic...if you don't have a sense of humor please do not inquire within. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a catch haha I haven't found anyone yet because I have been told I'm picky...but I truly feel that if you are going to be with one person for the rest of your life, you should be picky. Don't try and pull some game, b/c I will see through it every time...I am not looking for hookups so if that is what you want, go for it, but don't waste my time. I spent 2 months on safari in Africa a few years ago, it changed the way I saw my life and the people around me. I do all the normal things, eat.. sleep... shower... but I also do some different things. I scuba dive, train animals (dolphins, sea lions and even some monkies), milk cows and lifeguard. I really like emergency medicine, I'm an EMT-wilderness and a rescue scuba diver. I want to train a search and rescue dog someday. I'm an over achiever in most areas of my life but a slacker at heart, I enjoy a night at home watching TV as much as going out to a club. It doesn't matter where I am as long as the conversation is stimulating and it doesn't smell that bad. When you've trained search and rescue dogs in the local dump you'll understand... it doesn't matter how cool the person or how great the conversation: you are in a dump. I love to travel and have a few trips planned for this year. I'm working on my doctorate and work full time but I always make time for fun, its the only way I stay sane in my profession.
