I like to travel and see new places, meet new people, experience new cultures... I love to be near the water, whether it's a beach, a lake or simply a creek. I read a lot on the rare occasion I'm relaxing; however, I'm rather high energy (naturally). Do NOT enjoy being lazy (or around laziness). I lost my husband (and soul-mate) of 20 years in 2008 and I have taken time to grieve, but now I'm ready to move on and live life to the fullest!!! I have a job I absolutely love and two wonderful daughters that have blessed me with three grandsons so far, but I'm sure hoping to get a granddaughter too, though it's looking like it'll be a great-granddaughter, and I'm definitely TOO young for that just yet - LOL!!! I enjoy most any genre of music with the exception of rap and opera. Like to watch a good movie - mostly comedy, as I love to laugh!!! What I enjoy most is being able to go out dancing, at least once a month - NOT at all into the bar scene, just like to dance, so I tend to go in, dance for an hour or two and leave - it's my stress reliever!!! I'm a "smiler" - would rather be smiling than anything else!!! I'm an active out going women who enjoys living life to the fullest. My life is very full between work, play and my children, but I try and maintain a positive attitude because all in all, life is good and there is always something new to discover right around the corner. My children are my heart. Although I still have 2 teenagers at home, they are at the age where they enjoy spending more time with their friends so I find myself with more free time to do the things I enjoy. I love working out, running, hiking, biking, skiing, cooking, reading, gardening, most sports, coaching, just about any outdoor activity. I make a great effort to maintain a healthy life style both physically and mentally. I love the moutains in winter...and the beach in the summer. I would rather participate than watch sports. I enjoy going to a nice dinner and a movie as much as I enjoy working on a construction project together. I love remodeling projects and I am as comfortable going to a formal dinner as I am getting dirty and working on a job together. My friends have described me as funny, great personality, spontaneous, honest, dependable and genuine. I'd like to think I'm an honest, well rounded, old fashion girl with good morals, a positive attitude and a nice smile. I wear my heart on my sleeve and am not afraid to be vulnerable. But at the same time, I'm strong, confident, and compassionate, but don't take life too seriously. Well I guess just start eh! I have a great sense of humor and a social butterfly. Easy going and love to have fun. I have 4 children that are all grown and have families of their own. Also 14 grandbabies. 2 daughters and a son that still live there and 1 son who lives here. I am very family orientated and love to do family things. I am very active and plan to stay that way. I truly believe that 50 is the new 30. Lol. I am not a Barbie doll or not do I want to be. I enjoy just being me. I like camping, fishing, hunting, float trips and most anything to do with outdoors. I enjoy long walks with that special someone. I love to Go out to dinner and dancing. I am also very content to stay at home sometimes and watch movie. I very much love to ride Harley's and everything that entails. I can be a lady if I need to be but also don't mind getting alittle mud on the tires. I love all kinds of music, country, classic rock, r & b soul and oldies. I can adapt to any situation pretty easy. I have a saying that my daughters have me. I might not be someone's first choice but, I am a great choice I may not be rich but, I am valuable. I don't pretend to be someone I am not because I am good at being me. I might not be proud of the things I have done in the past but, I am proud of who I am today. I may not be perfect but, I don't need to be. Take me as I am or watch me walk away. The man I hope to find must be outgoing, fun loving, social and a romantic as I am a very affectionate woman. I have raised my kids to be decent adults; now it is my turn to have some fun. I would rather be outdoors than cooped up inside. I like to play games even if it means getting a bit dirty. Love baseball and hockey. Picnics and cooking out on the grill. Eating with friends and just sharing good times. Like shooting pool even though I am not that good at it! I also like going to a gun range too. I read a lot and enjoy the movies. Going to see any live music and especially small venues. My past does not determine who I am but where I have been. If you want to know something just ask. My worst habit is singing to the radio or my iPod too loudly and don't care who hears me. I may not have small children or any children that live with me but I really do have them in my family. So they are a big part of all family gatherings...so if that is an issue for you...well seek someone else. I enjoy watching football, nascar and hockey. I love being around water and nature especially if my dog is included. I am an occassional reader and gardener.
