I enjoy pina coladas and gettin' caught in the rain, not into yoga (not yet but could be persuaded maybe), have half a brain, I like makin' love at midnight in the dunes of the cape....you get the picture. Honestly, I enjoy all those things plus riding motorcycles (I have two), playing basketball, hiking, biking, running, fishing, kayaking, hunting, shooting, camping, skiing, snowshoeing. I listen to most types of music but usually you'll find modern rock/hard/classic rock playing in my headphones at work. Rap makes my ears bleed. I work in IT and take classes part-time (working on a second degree) but still find time to go out with friends on the weekends, even trivia here and there (I've won a few music rounds single-handed). I'm looking for a special lady that is goofy, funny, intelligent, established in a career, that has at least some shared interests with me.Update: I'm realizing that looking for "the one" right now isn't very realistic. Out of a 16 year relationship for about 10 months now and just need some companionship and fun people in my life. I need to start there. If I/we get lucky and it turns into more than meeting people and making new friends then I'm one lucky fish! Meeting for a drink/coffee is a great ice breaker. I like activity dates too. Why not a short hike or a walk on the waterfront that can turn into a drinks and dinner after if we hit it off?

I am a former collegiate wrestler and U.S. Marine. I was Honorably Discharged in ***and have been all over the world, including 2 combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am very patriotic and have the upmost respect for anyone who has served our country. I currently am employed by the NY State Supreme Court Appellate Div. First Dept.; also work part-time for a production company that works closely with fashion designers & concert crews.. After 8 years of Military service I had planned to become an NYPD officer like my father and eventually apply to ESU as a SWAT team member. Medical issues/injury from which I sustained in Afghanistan, ***had forced me to explore another profession. So with that said, I went back to school and graduated with a B.A. in Legal Studies, ***, an A.A.S in Paralegal Studies/Criminal Justice A.S., I plan on taking the LSAT exam in Dec ***. I would like to think of myself as a fun, easy going guy that loves a good laugh, dinners, movies, works hard but plays hard as well & I am apparently considered a jokester but by only me mostly..I don't really sweat the small stuff & can find humor in just about any situation..I am a guy who is honest, caring, and generous to others..I'm always willing to give a helping hand..One of my negatives though, is that I physically can not walk past a homeless person without giving whatever change I have in my pocket, its a work in progress but I am apparently not cured yet..I'm looking for a woman who is career orientated, has a head on her shoulders & somewhat independent & wouldn't find it awkward to watch a football or baseball game over a beer, maybe even hang with my friends, laugh, a little high five possibly & generally have a good time..Oh & major points if you are a Yankee/Giant/Ranger/ Knicks fan & would enjoy going to a game once in a while..I'm willing to do the same, whatever she might decide to do..***, u give and u get, it's not complicated...Being a down to earth woman who does not play games would be a great match for me..A beautiful smile is always encouraged as well...A materialistic woman is a turn off to me but I do enjoy spoiling at times..i have to admit, I do enjoy getting dressed up & showing off my better half off once in a blue moon but jeans, t-shirt & flip flops works for me as well..So in a nutshell, I am a sports fanatic, adventurous, spontaneous, beach bum and would love a female companion who shares similar interests.; absolutely love my neighborhood, always something going on...
