I enjoy working with my hands, wether it's working on the car, the bike, or some home DIY. It is rewarding to know you fixed or improved something. I have worked in body shops and taken a few college courses, but now it's mainly something I do as a hobby or to help a friend or family member. Still maintaining my certifications though, since you never know what tomorrow will bring in this economy.I also like to try and make it to the shooting range when time allows. Just starting to hand load due to shortages and outrageous prices. I used to hunt a lot as a kid or young man, but now it's mostly just go out and shoot for fun.I enjoy traveling wether it's a planned trip, or "Hey it's nice out let's go for a ride." I've covered a great deal of the country, but there is always something still waiting to be seen.I currently work third shift on an assembly line, which allows me to try and finally finish up a degree during the day. I still haven't figured out what I want to do when I grow up, but I have definitely found out what I don't want to be. I have maintained a job to pay the bills, wether it was a good fit or not, and am working towards bettering myself and finding that good fit. I am not a job hopper, I have only had 3 jobs in the last 20 years, which from my experience as a hiring manager with economy and job market in the gutter so to speak isn't too bad.I do not have kids of my own, but this will be my second year hosting foreign exchange students. This year I am hosting a boy from India and will be welcoming a student from Thailand until they can find permanent placement for him. I look at it as an opportunity for growth in myself, and sharing our culture with the world in a peaceful manner.I am looking for someone to share my life with. I understand that doesn't happen over night, I am not looking to be married tomorrow, just over dating. I do not hang out in bars, find little value in it. I don't drink, I have no problem if you want to have a couple drinks, but I don't like to hang out with sloppy drunks, I have a pool table and dart board at home. I have friends that rarely go to bars themselves, I belong to a social club which raises money for community charities, and I have family I enjoy seeing. Exceptions can be and will be made for a band playing, a special night out, etc, but it won't be the rule. Do something with someone. No such thing as perfect first date, so whatever works. More than likely I'll choke on food, trip, or some other awkward thing anyways. I guess if we make it to date two it was close enough to perfect lol.
