How exactly does one describe themselves? ok, here goes..Without sounding overly confident I will say I am very happy with my Life and my accomplishment thus far. But yes there is a void...That other half. I'm not saying that if you contact me, I'll buy airplane tickets to the Little White Chaple in Vagas. I have had a very success career. I am a Registered Nurse and worked in the Intensive Care Unit for over twenty years, and then moved on to teaching(also in medical field). After working so many years in Critical Care,I have learned and experienced many life lessons and learned that life is too short and every day is a new tomorrow.I have raised two wonderful sons that i'm very proud of, who are now 16 and 19... and slowly (or should I say much too fast for me) reaching the age will they will soon be on their own. And yes I find it difficult to accept, but they too will be opening a new chapter in their lives. Without sounding vain, My friends tell me that I'm fun to be with,full of energy, and look younger than my stated age.( I work out 6 days a week and feel as fit as I did in my 20's) I hate to argue,look towards a compromise,and to avoid an argument I usually walk away till that cooling off period has set in. Communication in my book is a big plus in a relationship. I like to be treated with respect as I do others. I'm a bit old fashioned and like it when a man opens doors for me, helps me with my coat,and places his Jacket over a puddle so I don't get my feet wet...lol..I have a positive attitude and look at life as the glass were half full. I am continuously working to improve myself mentally, physically, and emotionally. I value good friends, family, honesty ,respect, and freedom and there is nothing better than a good laugh to take the edge off the stress filled life we live in. I am looking for a new relationship, someone who is also happy with their life and wants to make it complete by forming a trusting and passionate relationship. I've had many loves in my life, and I'm not looking for the next love of my life. I used to go snow skiing, water skiing, camping, hiking, fishing, boating, horse back riding, going to the beach, etc.. I lived so much as an Army brat growing up and as an Army wife for 24 years and mom most of my life that my life is taking a different course now that I have been divorced for three years and my kids are grown up and living their own lives now.. My son is the last one to leave the nest and will be joining the Navy soon. I am supporting him right now... I am finally trying to figure out what I want in my life now... It is hard to do that since I have always been there for other's..I have traveled to many parts of the world and sang in several bands as a professional singer.. I am a woman of many talents and experiences. I can't complain...:) Let's meet for coffee or a drink and go from there.. Let's see if we have a connection first.
