I like to think of myself as an artist of sorts. I paint, draw, love photography, cook, write, all that artsy stuff. I love bad b movies and all the old b&w's, along with independent films. I'm a mom first and foremost, my kids (15,13,10,5) are all a bit different than most. I homeschool/unschool them, so we are a bit unique on our take of learning. Decided to go south a year ago, and love it here. I'm a bit of a country girl still, love spending time outside. I've recently decided it was time to get into shape, so have taken up walking/hiking, learning tennis and teaching myself to inline skate.We are total animal lovers, have a mini pin mix we rescued from the pound and a recently added stray pitt mix, along with an outside cat, two turtles and whatever other creatures the kids pick up from outside.

I love music, I can talk about it all day. I like simple things like, watching TV, going out to eat, going to movies or just hanging in the house. I look for someone to accompany me in my simple joys.

Been a bit since I dated, took some time for myself & my family. I value those who care about their family & take care of themselves also. I don't know if Im considered BBW, but I definitely don't have a model perfect body or even a slender body. I look like a true woman with curves & roundness in the right places. I hate seeing so many stick thin women who think they look nice, they don't!! But, that's my opinion. I am a good woman works alot of hours a week. I like country music like to fish and just hangout and talk. Live in the country hate living in the city like my privacy away from all the city life. Like to go out for dinner and drinks and talk and find out about each other!!

I enjoy the long walks on the beach and sun rises over the horizon.. sorry it was what popped in my head, I could not resist the corniness.. I do love the beach, though. I use humor to diffuse most situations... either personal or otherwise.. my friends tell me I am hilarious, but they are my friends. They are supposed to tell me nice things right? I am both serious and relaxed. It depends on the situation I also have a huge geek streak (Star Trek, not Star Wars). When I happen to do something particularly silly, stupid or goofy; I have no issue laughing at myself. I am southern, but I am not country.. I enjoy visiting the country, but I am very much a city girl. I like all the luxuries of city living. Like indoor plumbing and Starbucks. Oh and bowling alleys! I love traveling, reading, um.... I don't know... throw something at me maybe I will catch it... Like everyone, I value honesty (does anyone really WANT to be lied to??) I can get over lots of things, but being lied to is not one of them. I have a strong personality and I like a man with a strong personality (please do not misinterpret that as I want someone who will get abusively physical - I say personality because I mean Personality). I do not do well with guys that have very weak or placating personalities. I do not want a push over and I do not want to be coddled. I want a guy who is going to respect me and I am going to respect, someone I can have fun with at an amusement park or chilling out somewhere low key like the theater. I like all the ooey gooey romance stuff but don't need it all the time. Sometimes a look, a word or a touch is enough to communicate your feelings, roses are awesome - but not always necessary.
