About Me

I like to think of myself as an artist of sorts. I paint, draw, love photography, cook, write, all that artsy stuff. I love bad b movies and all the old b&w's, along with independent films. I'm a mom first and foremost, my kids (15,13,10,5) are all a bit different than most. I homeschool/unschool them, so we are a bit unique on our take of learning. Decided to go south a year ago, and love it here. I'm a bit of a country girl still, love spending time outside. I've recently decided it was time to get into shape, so have taken up walking/hiking, learning tennis and teaching myself to inline skate.We are total animal lovers, have a mini pin mix we rescued from the pound and a recently added stray pitt mix, along with an outside cat, two turtles and whatever other creatures the kids pick up from outside.

    I'm an easy-going girl who works hard to play hard! Education & family are both important to me so I'm making the best of ME to offer to someone. I'm working full time and in school part time. I am going to be a Special Needs or ELL (English Language Learner) teacher. My schedule can be hectic depending on the school semester, but I always find balance in work and play.
