Hello!I just moved back to Kelowna and pretty new to this site. I am bright, articulate and curious. I love hot weather, water sports (skiing, surfing, wake surfing, swimming, etc) and the outdoors. Writing this profile is actually really challenging. I do not consider myself a literary person, despite loving to read and digesting books when ever possible. I find it challenging to be as articulate as I would want to be yet not bore the crap out of you. I could ramble on about all the sports that I enjoy such as skiing, snowshoeing, biking, kayaking, etc. but, what’s the fun in that. It would be way more fun to go out and do them. The only thing that I would not do again is roller-blade. If you only saw me (was worth a good laugh) and the valiant effort that I made. I even bought a pair one summer but that summer, the medical clinic saw more of me than anyone would wish for. Perseverance is a good word to describe me that summer. I was really determined to learn and like it. Did Not Work! I never want to see a pair again. I love the mountains, love the ocean, we have some culture and lots of events to enjoy. There are great restaurants here that please every palate and what’s more fun than sitting on a patio in the summer and taking it all in. I have a close network of friends and some of my family live here. I am social and like to get to know and chat with many people. I like to be out and laugh and just have fun because after all, life is too short not to. Ciao for nowPS I spend as many weekends as possible during the Winter at Whistler so if you have a passion for the slopes, you win brownie points in my books (not happy brownies, just plain brownies cuz we are over that stuff now). Plus, cold weather can lead to cuddling by a roaring fire and that’s always nice.PPS I am here with the intention of dating for a potential relationship if I meet that elusive someone. To really understand my life, you have to start at the beginning... From an early age my parents trained me in the art of interpretive dance.-modern interpretive dance. Under his watchful eye (he had lost one eye in a freak sushi chopstick accident) I trained from sun up to sun down for two years. After placing a disappointing 145th in the ***Olympics, I had no choice but to hang up my pink dancing slippers. After getting my PhD, I took a job with Microsoft as a developer on their 8.x1 razoratun kernel. A little about me... I have a family that I love spending time with. (no kids) I spend a lot of quality time with great friends. I love being outdoors and spending time in the mountains but also like to just sit and watch a movie or read a book at home. I have a job that I love. Everyone wants to be loved...so why do so many people run away from people who have love to give them? What are they scared of? Being happy? I actually heard this on one of my favorite shows--not word for word, but pretty close. These guys are actually boys--at least emotionally. I am looking for a man....not a boy...on a less intense note...hahaha...I am looking for someone who is young at heart (likes inappropriate humor) and likes to give compliments....because i like to get them..hahaha...(I like to give them too...)I love singing, love almost all types of music, except for rap, heavy metal, techno, hip hop and bluegrass. I am a down-to-earth person, kind-hearted, loyal, compassionate, affectionate, romantic and sensitive person. I find pleasure and solitude in the home and that doesn't mean I don't go out, but there is something sweet and enjoyable in nesting. I enjoy to spend time with friends and I am really comfortable in large and small groups. I love my job, I do everything from buying, to design, marketing and selling. It matters a lot to me how I present myself and so I will let you know upfront that I learn a lot about people by the way they treat the people around them-- primarily those who have less power. No matter how I am treated, I watching to see how you treat others.
