I've been a single mom for years..... Now it's my turn! I know how to dress up and I can let myself get dirty (as long as there is a shower available when I'm done!). I believe that as much as we try to share about our interests, likes, dislikes, etc., until one meets face to face, it's really hard to determine that someone is (or isn't) a good match. I think a "meet and greet" type of meeting should preceed a real First Date. Then, if things go well.... plan the first date together!

I enjoy life. I try to remain present in each moment so I can appreciate all that it has to offer. I long ago left drama behind in favor of grateful and compassionate living, exploring ways to help others, and watching my two sons (now 24 and ***grow into amazing men. I also enjoy music ,travel, reading, seeing a good movie, yoga class, going out to dinner with people I really enjoy talking with, having conversations that expand my mind and spirit, watching Division I college hockey, going to my favorite jazz club, taking long walks, hanging out with my kids, talks with them, and volunteering in the Neonatal ICU at Children's Hospital each week. I have parasailed, snorkeled, ziplined, and even went skydiving!! My life is very good...wouldn't change a thing...except maybe getting to know some new people and meeting someone to share my life. I'm not looking for someone to "complete me"...I'm fine...really. What you see is what you get with me...if I feel like calling, I call at that time -- no sitting around wondering what he'll think if I call or if I don't...that's just ridiculous. I like guys who are confident in who they are, who know how to carry themselves, and who know how to make me feel like a special person. I'm a sucker for a well dressed man, a guy who's not afraid to hold hands or give me a kiss in public, someone who sends me flowers just because, and has the courtesy to ask *** just assume that I'll be spending my Saturday night with him. In other words, a guy who respects me enough to not take things for granted. And, of course, I treat the man in my life that way as well. I would like to get to know someone who is honest, self-confident, compassionate, has a sense of humor, who knows what he wants in life and has a plan to get it, is respectful of all, and goes to bed most nights with a smile on his face, looking forward to the next day and all that it can be.Oh...and don't forget to include a photo...it's a must and I won't respond without one.
