I'm an open book, yet somewhat complex. I'm very funny, outgoing and adventurous, and deeply spiritual. I'm also curious about life and why we are here. When I find a subject that I don't know about, I dive in and educate myself. I'm self sufficient and independent and value my quiet time. I'm a lover of nature, animals, and laughter. I can and do laugh at myself frequently. I don't take things so seriously, I look for the gifts in adversity. There are many. I enjoy time with my friends, my family, and with myself. I'm not looking for someone to fill me or take care of me, I have that part handled. I would like to be with someone who can match me, both in wit and in curiosity. About him. I don't care about materialism, or what kind of car he drives, or what kind of house he lives in. However, if he drives a Jeep off road and destroys nature, nope! I care about the inside stuff. And here it is. He has an inner quality about him that is calming, yet fun, crazy and simple. He appreciates the simple things, i. e., waking up, walking, drinking a great cup of coffee; meditation. He respects himself and me. He respects nature and if he sees garbage in his wake, he picks it up. He is independent, self confident, reliable, loyal, and has his own interests and friends. He's intelligent, optimistic and asks the big questions. He's not afraid of deep conversations, nor is he afraid of his own feelings, they're just feelings after all. I don't want someone to make me the center of their everything. I'm looking for Interdependence, not dependence and not co dependence. He has a curious, spiritual side and asks the big questions. He's open, honest, spontaneous! He can laugh at himself, and he's willing to work it through, whatever that is. It's the inside stuff I'm looking for. Bonus points if you're involved with doing something to aid those beings on this planet who are being tortured and slaughtered. I'm talking about our animal friends. I'm deeply immersed in trying to save the African elephant and rhino from inevitable extinction as a result of poaching. If you're a hunter do not write me. Thank you for taking the time to check my profile I would prefer to stay short since I prefer to talk about myself in person instead than a website.So there it goes :I was born in France & I grew up on a farm in Provence with very strong work ethics and values. I immigrated to the US about 25 years ago. I am self employed & call myself an entrepreneur. I am multi talented with a lot of things. I am who I am becauae I am a child of God. I stayed physically active way past school. Softball, volleyball, running, gym work out. I like working out and eating well. And am attracted to someone that likes to keep in shape, adventurious, and looks like that also. I am a softhearted person for lots of things. But my dad raised me so I have learned to take care of my car and get things done and not sit around. Ask if you need more clarification. I may not have been blessed with kids but do love them. I've never been married & I don't have kids. But if you do, that's fantastic!!Just right up front, I've got about 30 lbs extra, that I'm working on getting rid of. I'm not a big fan of football, but I could handle watching it with the right person. I play APA pool,& have been playing pool on & off since I was 18. I miss dirt track racing, rodeos, & live sports. it's just not fun to go by myself, so hoping to find a partner in crime!! Also, yes I have long term listed, but I do know that it takes time to build a relationship, and that starts by dating. Communication is a must! the last serious relationship i was in lacked communication & a big dose of emotional abuse was dealt. Luckily enough I recognized it for what it was & kicked his butt to the curb!! All wounds leave scars, but it's what you do after the wounds heal that matters. There is still a lot more to tell but I've come to the point of writers block. Lol So lets get to dating & having fun!!!My dad taught me that men are supposed to be the pursuers. So, I do find it a bit difficult to be the one to send a first message.If a lady messages you & you're not interested, you aren't going to lead someone on by saying thank you, or you too! I like BBQ's, hanging out and going to the movies. I am not sure about the whole dating thing. I am new to this and am also looking for an adventure. I am a proud Momma! I love families. Families together always have so much fun. Ohau to be exact and have kept many of the traditions in my home. My parents live there still part of the year then the other part they are here. I was to eager to start working. I have been an at home Mom for the past sixteen years and now am eager to start working once again. Looks aren't nearly as important as to what is inside ones heart.
