So I'm supposed to talk about myself... Yeah.... I'm not good at that. Let me see what I can do:I work in the OR of a major hospital as a surgical tech. What that means is that I scrub in and assist the surgeon during the procedure doing any number of different things. This is far less impressive than it sounds, but still quite challenging and fun. I like to go hiking, biking, camping, and any number of other types of things, though, at the moment, I've really slacked off on that. Simply no time, and no one to go with (a long walk in the woods can get old if it's just you). I also really enjoy cooking, watching movies, playing video games, and I'm an avid reader - my kindle is my most prized possession.I'm a pretty laid back person, calm and easygoing. That's not to say that I'm not opinionated and that I'm not passionate about things. I can be quite sarcastic, and I am very capable of laughing at myself, and in fact rarely take offense at anything someone says to me. I enjoy making people laugh, and will work pretty hard at it, though sometimes my particular sense of humor is not appreciated by everyone. Family and friends are very important to me, though I don't really stress about spending an infinite amount of time with them. Basically, I just take life as it comes, and try to work towards my goals.I'm looking to find someone that is independent, intelligent, and driven - while also able to integrate themselves well into a relationship. Being able to balance responsibility with spontaneity is a huge plus. I'm like most people, I need to like what I see, but more importantly, I need to like what I hear. Someone that has a wonderful mind will be far more attractive to me than the most beautiful airhead.I'm not trying to leap head first into a long term relationship. My goal is to meet someone that I get along with, then let things evolve naturally. If all this sounds good to you, then I hope to hear from you soon. Start with coffee or a drink, see where it takes us - from drinks to dinner or a movie. Maybe out to a club. Maybe skydiving... It really depends on how things go, but drinks or coffee are great for getting eyes on someone and talking a bit, seeing if there is potential. If that's wrong to have opinions and wants, then yes I am guilty. Why would I want to be around someone I am not attracted to? Now before you think I am just being shallow, I don't try to find the hottest girls. I am not like those ***holes out there. I don't like rating girls anyway. If I did rate girls, I'd say I would be attracted to 8s rather than 9s and 10s. That will also prevent them from getting a big head and eventually cheating on me or dumping me. It's happened to me before so I know what I am talking about. Also, I don't really care if a girl is super smart or super dumb. As long as there is chemistry there and we get along, that's all that should matter. Although I would love to have intellectual conversations every once and a while.... I am picky, but not super picky. I respect others' opinions and mine should be respected as well. I would like to be with someone who has a plan in life. Please have goals and strive to better yourself. If you work at McDonalds or BK and are not just working there to get yourself thought college, please move along. I am the last one to treat another like that. I do not like being treated like crap, so why would I do that to another person? I may not be the best looking or the biggest guy in the gym. I am who I am and I'm pretty sure I deserve better than I've been getting. So please don't judge me by my pictures. I usually take horrible pictures and most of the time I take a good picture 1 out of 20 tries. I can't help that lol. I like to have fun and joke around. I can be pretty sarcastic. It's all in good fun though. Trust is a HUGE thing with me. I've been cheated on and lied to and then found the truth out and STILL they wanted to lie... I will NOT tolerate liars. I am drama free and I expect that in return. I will fill the rest out later and get into more detail. I recently moved back to PA after being gone for 6 years. Everyone moved away. :( I am going to school to improve myself intellectually and i'm getting paid to go to school. Why wouldn't I go? I am gonna get a Federal job then have two retirements before I am 50 years old.
