I have two girls, ages 33 and 36, both are married, with my oldest having three bugs (6, 9 and ***and my youngest had a baby girl July of ***& also has a 6 year old girl, born 26 hours before my older daughter's youngest girl....Love watching them interact.... I don't like running with the pack as a rule, although I am comfortable in almost any social situation. I prefer one on one time, date nights and weekends for music, huggin, kissin, cocktails, dinner and exploring the senses... I like laying in front of the fire, sitting on the deck, lounging in the pool, talking about almost anything, honest communication. I have dated from a distance in the past, but have to be honest in saying that it is not for me. It is pretty much impossible to be spontaneous, with each interaction having to be planned. I am comfortable here at home with my critters living a very quiet, peaceful life and am looking for someone close enough for getting to know one another more easily than being at a distance allows, unless of course, you don't mind driving to see me... I took a pretty good hit when the economy tanked back in ***, closed my commercial concrete construction business of 25 years in ***, gave up a rental property in Statesville I owned for 11 years in ***and also my home of 25 years in ***. I decided to not jump right back on the hamster wheel, you know, living to work. I've have been building custom wood products such as cabinets, farm tables, benches etc., building this into my career; it takes years for overnight success. I retired fall of ***and am practicing the Art of Relaxing. ;***I know what I am looking for and am willing to wait. I find that many women do not show their pictures or "post current photos" and many as it seems, don't even take the time to read my profile or their own for that matter to see if we match. I am also looking for someone who as with me, their children are grown up and out of the house for the most part. Someone who has the ability get together, although I don't have a problem sharing time with family as I love my own dearly.
