I am a very down to earth and honest person. I am also a very hard worker, a great Mom, and a very good friend. I don't have a million friends, but I love and cherish dearly the ones that I do have. Mine are 23, 21, 18 and 13... 3 boys and a little girl. Two are in college and two are at home. My ex and I have joint custody and the 2 younger children go back and forth between the 2 households.My kids are very active in sports and I would love to meet someone who wouldn't mind hanging out with me at some football, softball and basketball games. My main goal in life has always been to be the very best mom I could be. I take parenting very seriously and I am very good at it. I love all children and they seem to pick up on that and like me very much in return. Right now my life evolves around their activities. I graduated from GA Tech in ***, but never really used my degree. I got married right out of college and started having kids shortly after.My daily life pretty much consists of working, working out, and spending time with my kids. I LOVE to work out and hope to meet somebody who would also be interested in that, although that is not mandatory. I do some sort of cardio 6 or 7 days a week and I do weights 4 to 5 times a week. I am 48 years old and probably in the best physical shape of my life, and it is important to me to maintain that.I really am hoping to meet my best friend!!! I want to be with somebody who enjoys my company as much as I enjoy their company. I want to be excited about getting together and spending time together, whether it is to go for a day hike, go for a run, ride the golf cart, go to the farmers market, take a nap, out to dinner for Thai food, or just stay in and cook and watch a good movie. I am very low maintenance. I don't require much. I am not crazy about shopping, although I do have a favorite consignment store that I like to go to. I love current country music; not so crazy about the old stuff. I also like classic rock.I was raised Jewish but I have been a Christian for a very long time. I have raised my children as Christians. God is very important in my life. I have struggled with my faith at times, but I do believe that He is the reason we are here. I have recently been attending church regularly, which feels really good. It would be nice to share that experience with a significant other. I do believe in true love, though, and I am not going to settle for anything less just to have a boyfriend. I would rather be alone than to do that. I was married 19 years and have been divorced for 7 years. I am a little quiet and shy at first but I warm up pretty quickly. I've been told that I am very easy to get along with. I'm not crazy about this whole dating thing. It feels like a whole lot of work. I know it will be worth it though, when I meet the right guy. I've met a lot of really nice ones, just not Mr. Right. My children keeps their mother up to date with the new music I have learned if you dont like you better start.:) Now about wanting to find man:: I am ready to find that someone special in my life, a man to respect me for whom I am and accept me for who I am,someone not mentally or phycically abuseive I have had enough of that in my life I know there has to be good men out there some where. I do not have a problen with a man who wants to have a few drinks,but not someone who gets mean and violent i wont have. I do not want a man on drugs. I maybe a little to over bearing and dont mean to be but I am not getting any younger and not into Drama but would like to find my friend and that special someonein my life. This is a crazy world these days and hard to just trust anyone but I know I am safe and know what I want out of life. Happiness and to be loved.I have learned when i was married for 14 years no matter how much a man makes it sure dont buy love. Going out and enjoying a nice dinner with your date for the evening. If all is going well and falling into place maybe go out dancing or even just to catch a movie or whatever may fall into place,just having fun with the person your with is the main thing,I am just not to hard to please and up for whatever may come along. if all works well then there could always be a second one. Starting as friends is the best way of learning one another and wherever the road my lead thats something that could be worth oyur time together. no one knows what the future holds but good things in life are worth waiting for.
