Love like you don't need the money, dance like you have never been hurt and work like nobody is watching I'm a creative professional (architecture), open minded, intelligent, opinionated, active, athletic (exercise daily but not insanely) and very independent, with a warm family and great circle of friends. My other drug of choice is live music - classical to alt rock (from this decade) followed closely by art; culture, sports, movies for grown ups, and almost no TV...I prefer to go out and have fun. But sometimes a night in cooking dinner, sharing wine and watching a movie together is ideal. I always have a book or two on the go. Ideas are oxygen for me. If we match wits, everything else will likely fall into place. My interests and sensibilities are very urban. I'd prefer to meet a like- You are slim to average- self-sufficient, happy and healthy, warm and witty with depth and intelligence ...likely a professional and willing to spoil and be spoiled. Its been a long time since I was looking to meet someone and I am just trying to fgure it out. Like everyone, life has served up a few curve balls but I am excited about the possibilities of a new beginning so here goes. ..I am humourous casual intelligent, I work hard through the week and like to kick back on weekends. First and foremost I am a dad. I am a firefighter by profession and a musician because I love music, all types of music. I sing, play guitar and I'm currently trying to learn piano. I am an avid reader, mostly non fiction but I enjoy a good novel. My favourite sport is soccer, but there are really very few sports that I don't enjoy. I play as well as watch. Love to sail my boat (it's nothing fancy) but being on the water is therapeutic, not saying that I need therapy. I travel as often as possible, usually three or four times per year. A partner with a sense of humour is a huge bonus but I manage to laugh at myself daily so if you're a little serious that's fine. Just be yourself. Young at heart father of three legally separated and to be divorced very soon. Okay then now that that’s clear. I live on my own and have my kids half the time. I am fine with the not rushing it approach but the long term goal for me of course is to not grow old alone. If we fit I will be there for you. Won’t you help me leave this place? From what I’ve read you’ll find this internet profile is one-of-kind. Everything in it is true! That’s right, I actually am 6’ tall. Born in ’62 so I really am 50. Sure the hair is very grey but at least it’s still there.
