Hi, a little about me:No big splashy write-up full of lies, exaggerations or 'facts' structured so as to tell you what I think you might want to hear, that's what has brought a lot of us here. The pictures are of me and most are fairly recent. I am fairly sane and reasonable (sometimes require a just little wiggle room though to allow for the fun factor lol).I'd like to think I'm honest, loyal, fair, tolerant, and of a playful nature. Remember when we all were fairly young, like early 20's and we really liked that one person? We got those buterflies flying around in our gut. We often wondered what they were doing when they weren't around, remember? We couldn't wait until we met again, the next day. Well I want that feeling again. Am I asking for too much?I've been trying to be happy for myself, for years so now I think I have enough to offer and to give someone who can make me smile and I can in return make them also be happy. Yes I realize only I can be happy with myself but having someone to enjoy today and tomorro and what the future brings is something that should be shared with another.Three words that best describe me, "different", "warped-humor" and "hairy-smart-a$$ (in a good way)" I've been told many times, Chuck, you don't smile enough, you okay, (or something like that), well I don't like to give them that "I-have-half -a-carrot-stuck-up-my-butt-look. If you ask me, Chuck, how are you, most likely my answer would be, "I'm average", as in I'm not good, not bad, not great, etc...etc.. I really say I'm average for two reasons, to be different, and more importantly, are you really curious on how I am, or you being polite? Usually people will do one of three things, nothing, which to me means they were just being polite, or 2), they'll say something like "huh", or "did you say average?", which means wow they are interested. See told you I'm different.Communication is always important to have. Without that there will be no chemistry and no partnership. I'm always willing to give you my last dollar if I know it would do you more good then for me to have it. I hate being called a NICE guy because to me nice guys finish last, aka losers and aka never get the gal. I'd like to get the gal and be a winner, ya know? Coffee seems like the way to go, sit across from me so i can see both eyes, we talk, find out more about each other, decide what to do next, either next time we could meet or perhaps next as in next today. Perhaps go for a walk, maybe amusement park, maybe see the sites. I'd see what makes you tick, and probably ask a question like tell me what you would do all by yourself if you had three free hours on a Saturday afternoon, or what do you always buy at the supermarket/grocery store even though you probably have some at home. I'd like to think I ask somewhat deep and thought provoking type of questions. I want to know about you and nooo I don't want to talk much about me but then I'm sure you would have questions for me to answer, so fair is fair.

Thanks for popping by. Writing about oneself may turn away the one I'm looking for, but I'll try it anyway lol. I'm a single dad with a variety of interests. Enjoy being outdoors, all seasons, have a canoe, mooch a cottage :), downhill and cross country are my favs, I suspect because they get my adrenalin pumping. Gainfully employed, enjoy my work, its like getting paid for a hobby. Most guys envy my work :) woman however do not do it, never seen a one in my 30 years of work, hence I'm online looking. Own my condo (well the bank owns it) own my car! woo who! Love my son (even though he's a teenager lol) like his dog (Scruffy, same curly salt and pepper hair like mine lol, dog is part time too, but not shared custody), like to cook, especially if its with that special someone. An hopeless romantic for sure, and it doesn't have to be every day or ***just little things that show we're on the same team. Like all kinds of music. Play lots of it too, as in listening, two surround sound systems, a stereo, two computers and a laptop, main theme here is virtually every room has speakers in it. My friends say I'm loyal, practical, dependable, easy going, fun. Now what am I really looking for? Really, it's for long term. Love at first sight? Happens sometimes. I know its friends first and if it clicks then the lovey dovey stuff grows with me. Not to belittle love by using the term lovey dovey, Am truly a romantic at heart and not shy to show it in public! Those little words or gestures says a lot about how you really feel for someone. Now about you, your patient, compassionate, understanding, don't jump to conclusions, thin, relatively speaking of course, the new "average" is something to be desired lol, although I would describe myself as average, except when I look at all the belly's around me I now say "athletic" to describe myself lol!, energetic (just not too energetic) and enjoy your day to day living, much as I do. Yes I smoke often, it's not an addictive personality as others may think, it is a truly difficult vice to quit, and I am considerate of others "air" Not giving up on quitting though, I'm hoping to give it another shot this year. So, do I need dozens of woman to keep me happy, no, I'm not an extrovert, do I need dozens of woman for companionship, no, I'm pretty secure and comfortable with my self. Do I need one that will become my lover, confidant, supporter and friend? You bet, just one ...Thanks for reading, hope you like it and good luck for you to find yours. I much prefer a bar or pub first. Dinners are also nice , but I 'd rather do that after a few dates. Live music is always good too, at least good for dancing, not so much for talking, yet you can still get a few words in. Walks in the city, walks in the country. Pretty much whatever you're comfortable with, I like variety and I don't mind trying something I have never done before, which shouldn't be too many things, also we can decide together if it gets that far.
