Remember when we all were fairly young, like early 20's and we really liked that one person? We got those buterflies flying around in our gut. We often wondered what they were doing when they weren't around, remember? We couldn't wait until we met again, the next day. Well I want that feeling again. Am I asking for too much?I've been trying to be happy for myself, for years so now I think I have enough to offer and to give someone who can make me smile and I can in return make them also be happy. Yes I realize only I can be happy with myself but having someone to enjoy today and tomorro and what the future brings is something that should be shared with another.Three words that best describe me, "different", "warped-humor" and "hairy-smart-a$$ (in a good way)" I've been told many times, Chuck, you don't smile enough, you okay, (or something like that), well I don't like to give them that "I-have-half -a-carrot-stuck-up-my-butt-look. If you ask me, Chuck, how are you, most likely my answer would be, "I'm average", as in I'm not good, not bad, not great, etc...etc.. I really say I'm average for two reasons, to be different, and more importantly, are you really curious on how I am, or you being polite? Usually people will do one of three things, nothing, which to me means they were just being polite, or 2), they'll say something like "huh", or "did you say average?", which means wow they are interested. See told you I'm different.Communication is always important to have. Without that there will be no chemistry and no partnership. I'm always willing to give you my last dollar if I know it would do you more good then for me to have it. I hate being called a NICE guy because to me nice guys finish last, aka losers and aka never get the gal. I'd like to get the gal and be a winner, ya know? Coffee seems like the way to go, sit across from me so i can see both eyes, we talk, find out more about each other, decide what to do next, either next time we could meet or perhaps next as in next today. Perhaps go for a walk, maybe amusement park, maybe see the sites. I'd see what makes you tick, and probably ask a question like tell me what you would do all by yourself if you had three free hours on a Saturday afternoon, or what do you always buy at the supermarket/grocery store even though you probably have some at home. I'd like to think I ask somewhat deep and thought provoking type of questions. I want to know about you and nooo I don't want to talk much about me but then I'm sure you would have questions for me to answer, so fair is fair.

I enjoy my work as flatbed truck driver , it is challenging and skill level to needed to drive with oversized loads .Have evenings off and weekends .Work 50 hrs or more a week so it does present challenges when it comes to dating and spending quality time with a friend. However am home every night and off weekends .Enjoy going for a drive on back roads see the country side ideally this would be more fun with a companion.I plan on purchasing a travel trailer I near future so it is paid for when retirement comes along , the lady I want in my life should be into this parking somewhere for a few weeks at a time relaxing by a lake or river , going for walks ect.Enjoy cooking , chatting over a meal , a good movie, listening to birds sing and watch them.Love all kinds of music except rape , classical, and real heavy rock where all it is screaming believe it is called grunge.Love wearing a suite and tie when the need for it comes up, or comfortable in jeans or in a pair of shorts and sandals .Not into track pants and such in public only at home relaxing , wear a belt not a rope to keep my pants up:-) . Loyal, supportive and undemanding, without a hint of jealousy. I do, however, insist on honestly answering questions asked of me, on the generally false assumption that an honest answer is desired. I will repeat this, even immediately after suffering the consequences of the first answer. It’s a feature, not a bug.I’m pretty down to earth (which i think just means that I never have, and likely never will want to own a watch that costs more than my last car), easy going and undemanding. I can’t imagine life without bacon. I like kittens and hard liquor. I refuse to pay $12 for a drink in a martini shaped glass, even if it is an actual martini. The first book report I ever wrote, in Grade 4, was on a book by Mickey Spillane. I have been known to give a copy of “The Myth of Sisyphus” to babies as birthday presents. I also have a fondness for actuaries.There is one particular Red-winged Blackbird in High Park who insists on attacking me every time I walk past his tree. Finally, sitting by a lake with a bottle of Jack on a clear moonless night, the milky way tucked in around me, is the kind of artifact I can truly celebrate.So, what am I looking for? Either someone who, based on my picture, thinks I’m hot, or someone who finds the above appealing. Someplace well-lit and with metal detectors, given that, in my experience, quasi-intellectual women are usually packing heat. Or we could just go for a coffee or a drink on a patio.
