I'm pretty analytical person, but I've come to learn that there's a lot to be said for going with the flow and doing what feels right. If there's an all-encompassing, overarching order to all things, I figure it's better to be in harmony with it than fighting against it.I'm passionate about music and movies, but only the good ones. For me, the good ones have at least two of these three: intelligence, heart and soul. Not necessarily in that order and not "Heart and Soul," the song. I generally have very strong opinions about whether something is good or not but have learned after much trial and error not to debate the issue unless invited to do so, and then usually only if it's in good fun. That's what I aim for, anyway. Actually, I recently read an article about arguing at BusinessInsider.com. There was a statistic that around 70% of couples' arguments are perennial and hence you're better off just learning to respect or at least tolerate the other person's opinion, live and let live.What else...I generally start my day sitting at the computer, drinking tea and alternating between reading economics/business/finance/politics articles, while listening to music or to The Daily Show or some political news show and trading messages and *** family and friends. I don't understand ***; for the me, it's been a great invention. I have relationships with old, old friends and distant family members I've never met in person and would never otherwise have known. It's pretty mind-blowing.I like to get out of the city a few times a year, often to my home town in S.FL, especially in the Winter. I grew up down there, but always hated the oppressive heat and humidity. I have come to appreciate it more since moving to NYC, though.I like to go jogging on the padded track at McCarren Park, which is actually one of the reasons that I've remained living in N. I also like to lie on a towel and read there when it's warm and go swimming at the Metropolitan Pool. I like the smallness of N.Books: I enjoy reading about Economics, Music Theory, Physics, Cosmology, History and Philosophy, among other things. I don't read much fiction these days, but am looking forward to getting back into it eventually.......; Having a drink is nice, or doing some activity of common interest.

On a lighter note, I am hoping to meet new people and see if we connect. I am known for my sense of humor. People who know me, know I am the one in the group who has always made everyone feel comfortable from all walks of life and make people smile. I have a very playful personality and do not take life too seriously. I also love animals. I have done some volunteer work at a local shelter. Being able to give my time to care for the animals there is something I thoroughly enjoy doing. If more people gave a little more to others and took a little less for themself, who knows where the world would be. Not that I am perfect by any means but I try to be the sorta guy I would want my own future daughter to end up with.....or my gay son to end up with. Whichever ;) A fun night on the town. Possibly dinner, drinks and a lot of laughs. One thing I pride myself in is being able to have fun with people from all walk of life and interests. I am a peoples person, enjoying the company of others and enjoy getting to know others and what their interests are.
