My son is the most important thing in my life. My job comes second. I'm very independent and not looking for anyone to take care of me... I got this... Playing with my son whom is 7 is definitely my favorite thing to do. Teaching him everything i can any chance i get!! Ok, a little about me….I have lived in the DFW area for about 10 years now. I have 2 little boys (5 and 2) and they are hands down one of the best aspects of my life!! Being a mom to them is such an honor and is the most wonderful, challenging, exhausting, and rewarding experience that I have ever had, and worth every minute of it!! I love to make the most out of each day. I love learning new things and am constantly looking for life’s next lesson. I am a neat freak. I am very organized. I make spreadsheets for everything. I believe I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to and I never give up on anything. Oh and I love cooking and baking.Any excuse to be around friends and family makes me happy! I spend a lot of time with my family. I enjoy cooking, party planning and hosting any sort of event (dinner, birthday parties, showers, game nights etc.) I love a good dirty martini and red wine. I love live music especially country music. I like to go to the gym and when the weather is nice, I love going on long walks. I love taking pictures and creating photo books. And when I am not doing any of the above, I enjoy the occasional quiet evening watching a movie or catching up on all my shows on my DVR.I am a very open, honest and genuine person. Theres just something so magical about it. Its like being a kid again. Lol. I like spooky stuff. Love Halloween, scary movies, visiting cool places with haunted histories. I love thunder & lightning storms & would love to have that special person to watch them with. Im very much into health & fitness. I think its important & would appreciate a guy who feels the same. Im def a little old fashioned. When a man opens a door for me, or wont let me lift heavy things, etc (altho i def can! Hahaha), it means a lot to me & I think its really cute. Let's see, descriptions are so hard to do. And, let's face it, it really is the pictures that bring you to the profile, and make you reach out. As everyone else says, I love to laugh. I have a sense of humor that borders on "picking" on someone. Extremely sarcastic and dry and sometimes dark in my humor. I am well-rounded, as my Elementary teachers described me, I will try anything, once. I do well at almost everything I try to do (except date, apparently). I like to be active. I like to go to concerts, mostly country cause they tend to be more reasonable in price. I like being outside, but I also like to sit at home every now and again. I spend my weeks being cooped up in an office by myself, so when I am not at work, I like to be around people and doing things. I am extremely social. I have a lot of friends.I want a guy that is secure in himself, secure in me and honestly thinks I am funny. I am educated, and I will correct your grammar, but I will try not to do it too much, :-) (that's come with age). Things I can't do:Meet up at the drop of a hat.Send you naughty pictures....I am just NOT that girl. I also am not looking for a hook up at all. I expect to be asked out, but I do not expect you to pay for me, again, just not that type of girl. I want someone honest, dependable, and strong. Someone who knows themselves, and is not afraid to get to know themselves better. I also like guys taller than me, may seem silly to you but I don't like feeling like the jolly green giant. :) And no offense meant but I do not date black guys. I have just never been attracted. I want to meet someone worth my time and who won't be wasting it either. Someone who can enjoy a good conversation or just sit in silence, do some cooking, go out to eat, movies, live music, just hanging out. I'm open to trying new things as well.. I come from a large family and Christmas is my favorite time of year with my family. I am a bit of a wanderer and I love to be spontaneous when I can. I've been known to take very impromptu trips. I love to travel, I love nature, being with trees. I love to scuba dive, lay on the beach, go out for dinner. I'm into yoga, reiki and learning more about myself and what I want. Still learning but willing to grow with someone. I was in the Air Force for over 10 years but I'm out now and enjoying it and living by the water. I love all kinds of music, rock, country, oldies, blues, Christmas music, I could go on and on. Something fun for the first date, help get over that hurdle of feeling a bit awkward. Bowling, sailboat ride at sunset, drinks, mini golf, anything fun and exciting. Could be anything, just so we can see if we are going to have that connection to make it to date two.

I really enjoy fitness activities and would love to find someone to do them with. Im not competitive per se, and still have a long way to go on my fitness goals, but I do enjoy the thrill of a challenge! I've done Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash, Rebel Race, and a bunch of local 5 and 10ks. Crossfit keeps me busy several days a week and I also work with local pitbull rescue organizations helping end the cruel sport of dogfighting and to find loving forever homes for abused/neglected/unwanted pitbull type dogs.I have an awesome career and am thankful everyday for being able to do what I do. I'm prior Navy (Go Navy, Beat Army!) and am proud to have served my country. In my 'spare' time I also really enjoy the art of craft beer. Anything IPA or pale ale is probably a go for me. Sarcasm is the absolute key to my heart and would love to find someone who can both make me laugh and who shares similar intrests!I have my personal life pretty much in order.
