Hmmm.... lets see... I find the humor in just about everything, including me. But for right now, I'm going to go with serious. We can goof around and laugh our asses off indefinitely if you're out there :) I'm in pretty good shape, and social. I'd like a man that likes to stay active and is playful. Everyday I try to appreciate what is put before me and count my blessings. Life is a journey and I love it. Okay, 97% of it, lol. I don't feast on bitterness and resignation... too heavy. I need to save room for sun showers and tree climbing and star gazing and... stuff.I love my family and friends, my home, my life. I have compassion for humanity including myself. I have goals and priorities. I am constantly learning and like trying new things. And yes, there are problems but such is life. I talk a lot and I laugh everyday. I have faith in the world (still!), I give the benefit of the doubt but I am not blind to reality. I try to face the tough stuff with some measure of courage and integrity. I believe that if you can't work toward accepting and loving yourself, including all of your imperfections, then you can't love and accept others... so I'd rather avoid that :)I really do value a passionate relationship, although I am a little shy when it comes to men sometimes. I am not in a mad rush. I am interactive and want that emotional closeness that comes over time. Music, well, I love it. Most of it. Can't do a straight diet of country or rap.I'm a work in progress all the way around and expect to remain so until the gig is up :)So say hi, and who knows.... Something fun and casual, no pressure. I think it would be good to spend some time in the afternoon checking out the museum or walking on the waterfront, but I'm open to suggestions :)

Gosh, where do I start? Hobbies include traveling, dancing, and both quiet meaningful chats and/or silly conversations that make me giggle. After working as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for 15 years, I recently graduated from college with my first degree, and am now employed as an RN. Never too old to learn! Well, here goes everything. I am a single mom. I am a bit on the shy side. I love kids and not just mine. I have 2 grown boys that mean the world to me, but I am ready and willing to make room for someone special and his crew too. I was laid off in March ***. *** being devastated, I view this as an opportunity to pursue a new career direction. I will be going back to school full time this fall and am very excited. I am independent, but not to a fault. I have been described as a loyal, honest and giving person. I have a good sense of humor, sarcastic at times! I hate drama, but unfortunately real life deals out it's fair share. So I tend to look for the humor in what comes my way, as often as possible. I can be classified as low maintenance. I don't demand too much. I like to travel, but I don't get to very often. I have a lot of different interests and would like to find someone to share them with as well as learn about theirs. I am a romantic at heart and can give as good as I receive. What am I looking for? Someone who believes in being honest and faithful. Someone I can easily talk to, who will listen and who, in turn, will talk to me. I want to find someone to share and experience all the things life has to offer. A good sense of humor is a must! What I have learned is that it is hard to get to know a person by just reading a profile, a few *** txt msgs. It may even take more than one or two meetings to really start to see the real person. If you see some qualities that you like and no real "red flags", give it a chance and see what happens. If nothing long term comes of it, at least you tried and maybe you at least made a new friend. :o)
