Faith, family, and friends are the most important aspects of my life. My morals and values come from God's Holy Word-The Bible, and they are my guide for how I live my life. Spending time with family ( there are 48 in my immediate family ) is one of my favorite ways of how I spend my time. I love the beach, boating, fishing, hiking, camping ( tenting only ), burning marshmallows for you, nature, The Symphony, movies, plays, intimacy. I just realized that I already wrote about my interest-excuse me while I take my meds for Alzheimer's LOL. I graduated from Grand Valley, I couldn't find my old dorm now even with a map of the campus. I have my Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Nursing, also Certified Parish Nurse. I worked full-time for 28 years all in a management position. I have worked in a variety of settings. My first job involved the *** a computer system at Hackley Hospital. I wrote 2 books during this process which IBM purchased the copy-write to. These books became part of the package for any Hospital purchasing IBM for their computer software. Then I worked as a consultant for IBM going to Hospitals who purchased their system, but failed to use it. After that I was the Head Nurse of a 42 bed surgical unit again at Hackley. During my work there I devised a procedure that saved the hospital more than $200,***in the first year, and continues to save them money to this day. I discovered that it cost the hospital close to $3,***to replace an RN. I wrote a book about how to keep your staff, you work for them. They were in the process of having it printed when we moved to Florida for my husbands business. My career continued as Director of Nursing at an in-patient Hospice Facility, Skilled nursing, and Assisted Nursing Facilities. Taught at a local Nursing College, was Director of Nursing for a Home Care Business where I was acknowledged for increasing productivity by 50%. Then I went back to College and received my Certification to practice as a Parish Nurse. I served a Church with over ***members along with only a Senior Pastor, so I took over the position of Associate Pastor for 9 years-preaching, conducting funerals, baptisms, served communion to the home bound and became the on-call pastor for our local Hospital. Had 2 beautiful children, then on Christmas Eve after 25 years of marriage my husband left myself and our children. With God's Grace I became a much stronger person. Today I love myself, and the feel of the remote control in my hands. I have retired and now spend my time doing Charity and developing Medical Equipment. I love to spend time with my daughter and my two wonderful grandsons. In order to see my son, I had to take up fishing, and bow hunting, along with driving the family Scarab boat to pull my son as he barefoot skies, which he learned how to do at the age of 13, my daughter skies and will often drop a ski. They both snowboard and my son finally gave up racing motocross after his third trip by ambulance to a local Hospital. We have a family business "Bekins Autio Video and Appliances" with one store in Grand Haven and one in Cascade. My son is the Supervisor over deliveries and repairs. My daughter is a Social Worker serving over 8 area Nursing Facilities all owned by the same Company. So now it is myself and my Yorkshire named Charles Barkley, we spend our time collecting pop cans after a local football game to help pay the rent, and he holds on to the ball of string as I knit the largest scarf in history because that's all I know how to do. I wear one piece pj's with feet in them to bed-my dog has a matching pair, and the most exciting trip I ever took was a Cruise with all Deaf Mutes-fluorescent puppets were the main entertainment. So that has been my exciting life minus numerous other catastrophes, like having an exchange student from Mexico who on the first day of school wanted to know what time do we siesta and do we have wine with our lunch. I am a very loyal, honest, generous, caring, intimate, one man only woman who has a great deal of love to give since my ex preferred to get his love from about 60 other woman. I promise to always be for you and not against you, I will grant you unconditional respect and will always see you as the head of the household. I will not try to change you, but accept all of you as you are. I want to know your "love language" so that I do and say what means love to you. I will never flirt with another man, and you will always know how much I want you and appreciate having you in my life. I will never not have time for you ( as long as you help me and Charlie collect pop cans ) LOL! May God Bless every minute of every day of your life.
