Okay so this isn't my favorite part....but here it goes. I am a graduate student working on my Masters in Education. I work as a teacher in a severe profound special needs classroom. I have walked away from God to follow my own path, but realized God love me for exactly who I am. Recently i have begun my journey towards health and love going on walks and exercising. My goal within the next yer is to be able to run a 5k.I love college football, Go Dawgs!!! I have tried this before and it didn't go exactly as I had hoped. Maybe this time around will be different. Im okay with dinner and a movie, but going to a sporting event is the most exciting. Going bowling or a round of golf are fun also. Just to be warned I am not to good at either but love the competitive aspects of both.

I'm employed full time. I drink too much coffee. I love country music. I have a heart for almost all animals and have two cats that I adore and while you don't have to love them too, if you're one of those people who thinks cats are evil incarnate, this probably isn't going to work. I have a weird fascination with those awful movies on the SyFy channel. I don't really trust people who don't like ice cream.I'm not religious. I love going to sporting events, Indians, Chiefs, Shock, etc and am dying to go to a Seahawks game. I like movies, coffee, dinner, etc. I've been trying to exercise and stay more active.I'm pretty laid back, don't like drama. I've often been told that I'm funny... I won't tell you that because then there would be too much pressure and I probably wouldn't be funny and I'd end up not funny (unfunny?) and a liar. I have off days like anyone but for the most part, I try to stay positive and enjoy the heck out of this thing called life. Kind of hit a stand still on how to meet people so thought I'd give this a shot. Though I'm not necessarily a shy person, I can be when I don't know someone. Unfortunately in social situations this tends to come off as aloof and/or snobby. I don't really like the part of this site where it asks what you are looking for. I'm still new to this online dating thing and not totally comfortable with it yet. I definitely want to find a relationship at some point; I just don't want to force it. Something where we can talk... coffee (big surprise), walk in the park, etc. I love movies but it makes it difficult to get to know someone. A first date when you haven't previously met the person should probably be fairly casual... lots of conversation and assessing attraction, easy out if there isn't any.

I don't think that makes for a good relationship. Phone numbers/texting: This depends on the person. If you message me with just your number, you will not hear from me. I have been here long enough to realize that giving my number to someone I have hardly talked to can lead to problems. If I feel we click after messaging then no problem, but the basis for friendship has to be there first. Also, I do my best to not be "that girl". You know, the one that texts you constantly. I can take a hint. Mostly I don't want to interrupt anyone's life. If you have the number, text any time. If I'm available to text back, I will. If I don't, please do not send me five more. (Because I'm probably sleeping or working and unable to catch a minute). Hate mail: If you send me a message and I do not respond, I may have forgot to log out. The other alternative is that I have viewed your profile, and there is something in it that does not appeal to me. Please boys, if you don't hear from me.... Realize that sending me a message telling me I'm a stuck up jerk (and alternatives) will be a waste of your time, and I will laugh. Just like I laugh at the tag lines that say things like " all the girls on here are stuck up *** -if you really think that's going to attract a decent girl, by all means... Continue using this site. I wish you luck. And finally, as for my profile stating I am looking for a relationship... I am. I also am cool with just making friends. I'm not going to send hate mail, or get butthurt. You will most likely just get a new friend. Besides, I want to have a friend in a potential romantic partner. It's a great start. If there is no chemistry or spark, there just isn't. We will probably know after talking for a bit. It's really not a big deal to be friend zoned right? :) Something simple and easygoing. Coffee sounds good, maybe a drink somewhere quiet, or a walk at a park.
