So much to say in such a little space :-) I'm outgoing, educated, funny, super cute and plenty more.. I've recently enrolled in Grad school to conquer a Masters in Education. I'm excited about it. It's something I've wanted to do for a while. I'm an outdoorsy kind of girl who feels most at home on the beach. It's where I spend the majority of my time during the summer months. I'm both a cat and dog lover. They are awesome. I haven't had a dog in a long time but don't believe that a dog is something that should fit in my purse. I'm hoping my next dog will be a Boxer or a rescued Pit. We'll see how it goes :-) That's some about me, so let me tell you what I'm looking for. It's very simple: be honest, big-hearted, funny, charming, intelligent, a good conversationalist, physically active, love four-footed creatures, and make me laugh. Think you can handle all that? ;-) I can't wait to meet you.... An awesome first date doesn't have a particular look to it but it DOES have a certain feel.. A place to sit and have an appetizer or two with a glass of wine is a fantastic start.. Live music is an added plus.. Something cozy and not too loud.. I'd hate to have to shout in order to talk to you! With live music usually comes some dancing.. If you can dance, don't be shy.. I'd love it if you took my hand and led me out to the floor :-) What I've noted here is a phenomenal start and let's see how it goes from there..

Well, the rebirth started when I made the conscious choice to improve my living situation, moved out, dropped 70 pounds in little more than a year (and counting), and found balance in my new life as a single mom of two great kids. I am interested in making acquaintances and see what happens. I'm honest and will be upfront with you - if I'm interested, I'll respond even if it's not immediate. I manage a busy single parent life so you'll need a little patience. If it’s meant to be, we’ll both know it, reach for it, make the effort and make a true connection, and that’s what I hope for - a fresh start to share this short life with someone who can reciprocate a fulfilling existence.Little 'bout me - I'm a clean cut gal who became a Navy wife, focused on college, career, and family. I'm a closet Sci-Fi geek with a silly side who sings to herself and enjoys painting, loves to swim, go for walks, and enjoy the occasional video game. I like to do a mix of indoors and outdoor activities that generally center around my kids and prefer to be active and productive so I feel like I accomplished something meaningful in my day. I've been an executive in healthcare for many years so management is in my blood but I believe in life/work balance and time with my family is VERY important to me. And yes, even with weight loss, I'm still a curvy BBW. I expect more substance to a relationship than the physical but I get that attraction is key for both of us. The journey to my ideal size continues, but as I walk this path I know my worth and beauty inside and out. On the upside, I've been told recently I'm not as big as I seem to think the label states, but I don't think I'm just 'a few pounds' more than ideal either. My height hides alot - you'll just have to gauge for your self :-)As for you, I don't want to pre-define my 'dream' guy with a few choice characteristics because everyone's unique and cliché’s are a dime a dozen (pun intended), but a girl’s gotta have her standards. You must value true honor, honesty, communication, and respect, have a sense of humor, be self-motivated and even tempered. I am looking for someone who carries his own (want to be a partner, not your mother). You need to be strong and I’m not speaking physically, although being able to open the jar after I’ve loosened it up for you is a plus! I’m referring to strength of self, supportive, confident - do what it takes in good times and bad to get things done and still be sensitive and thoughtful to the events around you. I'm interested in a man who may do things I don't currently do, because I'm happy to explore new adventures for myself, and for my kids in appropriate situations. Speaking of kids, and this is a deal-breaker, you have to be ok with kids. There's nothing more sexy about a guy who can be all the things I've mentioned and still be the thoughtful teacher, a fun yet disciplined father-figure, especially if the kids are not his own blood. Understand as a single mom this sentiment is important: win my kids genuinely, want my kids truthfully, be a role model for the kids, and you're halfway into my heart!
