Did you know that a majority of the male profiles on this site say, "no drama." I have a bit of reality to share with you guys: Girls are all drama and that is why you love us! Your mom is drama, your sister is drama, we are all drama- period. The level of neurosis varies but generally speaking girls are emotional and a little annoying. Sorry to break it to you. Not a fan of the no T shirt profile picture.I think it is time I put some effort into my dating life. Everything for me has been on hold because I have worked terribly hard in school etc. to get into the field of work I am in. I am forcing myself to step outside of my comfort zone and give this a shot. I am TYPE A all the way and other type A personalities exhaust me. So, I guess what I am trying to say is that I am drawn to quiet, shy, patient, kind, guys. People are either fascinated by my drive and intellect or completely put off by my arrogance. The thing is that the field of work I am in demands this type of personality. The most important characteristic of a person, friend, lover, etc. is loyalty. I may not warm up quickly but when I do---I'm loyal for life. I've been in several long term relationships and am on good terms with all of my ex boyfriends. Not the kind of good terms that is cause for concern but if I were to run into any of them on the street no one would hide. ;) Education is of utmost importance to me. I need someone who can hold a conversation and challenge my beliefs on life, love, religion, politics and human nature. I am a horrible cook and I hate sports. I won't pretend to like things just to hang out with you. However, I will try anything at least once. If it is important to you, it will be important to me. People need to be independent and maintain an existence separate from their mate. You watch football and I'll read a book, shop, or visit friends. It's a good balance.My interests: architecture, philosophy, psychology, law, current events, politics, animals, my nieces and nephews, the outdoors, hiking, the beach, reading, music, relaxation, sleep, documentaries, wine, coffee, blogging, writing, insider trading (seriously intrigues me)..Favorite food is white trash comfort foods. (Seriously) Also, I love soup! and Hummus.I love R&B Music, a clean house, clean sheets, clean anything.I have a doctorate degree, no pets, no kids...and I don't want kids, ever. However, if you have kids that is great because I do enjoy kids. My traveling experience is limited, don't speak any foreign languages, never seen any of the Star Wars movies and don't want to. I have issues with expired food and weird pieces of chicken. No allergies. Oh...your mom will love me. Surprise me. Shower!

Hi- so this is so cliche to say... But it is really hard to fill these out! I am still pretty new to living in the city, but am from the Bay Area so I have grown up coming here. I love to be creative and find inspiration in all parts of life. If I had to label myself I would say I couldn't ;) but someone recently said I was part fashionista, part earthy hippy and part beach girl which I guess is a fair summary!I am very fortunate that I have found a career that I love, I am passionate about and let's me embrace my creative side. I recently received my masters degree in educational administration in hopes to someday become a school administrator. I run several times a week for exercise. I don't necessarily love it, but it keeps me in shape and helps me burn off some stress. Movies, going out to dinner, shopping, watching sporting events, going to concerts, are just a few things I enjoy doing. However, I don't get to do these things as often as I like. I'm looking forward to finding a special person to do much more traveling with me.I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family just talking, laughing, eating, and having an all around good time. I definitely have a silly side to me that isn't always apparent at first... But I am looking for someone who I can laugh with, have fun with, and share my silly side with (after all, I am a middle school teacher; silliness is a requirement for that job). I have become a self-sufficient girl who is looking for someone to share these things with as well as my life.
