.....Hmmm...this is where things seem to get complicated. It seems to be when you are up front and forward in telling someone exactly what you want, need, and desire they tend to run. But here goes...I would like to meet someone who knows what they want in a relationship, is ready for a real relationship, but not expecting to fall in love in a day or get married in a month. You know the first moment you meet someone if there is chemistry and during the first date if you are excited for a second. And there is nothing like an ice cold beer at a baseball game! When I really want something I go for it. I’m passionate about everything from the simple things in life to the most difficult. I would love to find someone that is affectionate behind closed doors and in public (cuddler a big plus), enjoys spending quality time together (but also giving each other due space), isn't afraid to be silly, and likes to be adventurous romantically and personally. (At least you were until we got to number 8 below.)I have not appreciated the following actions in the men I have gone out with:1) I did not appreciate showing up for a first date and seeing my date groping another woman; telling me I look great does not make up for this.2) I did not appreciate being stood up because my date was too drunk to show himself; no I will not reschedule.3) I did not appreciate the men (yes, plural) who have expressed their undying adoration for me but have then abruptly stopped talking to me the first time I refused to send them naked pics. Guess what. These men still don't have naked pics.4) I do not appreciate when someone says they want to go out with me, but then refuses to do so. WTF?5) I do not appreciate the date who tries to push beyond my stated physical boundaries. If I set a limit, I mean it. Oh, and I'm a black belt in karate so watch out ;***I did not appreciate the guy who chatted with me nonstop for two weeks and then stopped cold turkey with no explanation. If you decide you hate me, can you please just tell me and not make me wonder what happened?7) I did not appreciate the guy who whenever I asked him a question online, he'd give me one word answers, and then invited me to his house for the SOLE purpose of taking care of his boner. Have a personality first, people.8) I did not appreciate the guy who told me that he wanted a long term relationship just because the thought that was what I wanted to hear. Not wanting a long term relationship will not take you out of my dating pool. Being dishonest probably will, though.Please understand that with very few exceptions, I enjoyed almost every date I've been on (yes, even with the groper.) I enjoy the humor in these situations and just generally enjoy going on a date. It makes me feel alive.As I continue to date, I will continue to update this list until such time as I am ready to settle down! :)

You must have an appreciation for a woman who loves being a girly girl but isn't high maintenance, a woman who is comfy in a dress and heels and jeans and t-shirt. =) I am terrible at this sort of thing, talking about myself that is. I can be quiet chatty however if the chemistry is right and will open up when lured by an interesting topic. I have had an amazing life, for which I am grateful but it seems each day things are changing my life is again on the move, finding direction and loving the journey. I have learned that everyday should teach me, enlighten me and leave me feeling like I mattered. I believe in caring for others and for self, I expect people to be genuine and kind-hearted....life is much more fulfilling when we remember to treat people fairly, harming no one and lifting those we can. I love to laugh, enjoy movies and will watch TV but loose interest rather quickly. I am happy spending the day exploring on my own but much prefer to share my time with someone who "gets" me. I am a passionate person and have a flair for great emotion....I "feel" my life and want you to do the same. The one line that sums up my approach comes from my all time favorite movie, Shawshank Redemption...."You can either get busy living, or you can get busy dying"...I choose living. I am fairly easy going and believe a first date should be one that allows the conversation to flow. Anything where you are able to spend time getting know one another....it can be lunch/dinner or drinks......and afternoon at a waterside restaurant. Not somewhere that is crazy loud or with a lot of interruptions....I want to be able to talk, laugh and flirt a bit even. =)
