Hi Yall!) I am a mom whose only son has grown up (way too fast), married and moved on to the Army. Oh yeah, and made me a grandma! I am an ER nurse that has traded 12 hour shifts on my feet for a great office job (still nursing). I love my job and now get evenings, weekends and holidays to have fun and live life outside of sick patients. There are days when I dress like a "lady" in nice office clothes, then the next I like wearing my cowboy boots and jeans, and some days I just can't keep from throwing on the Harley gear. I have recently sold my own Harley but I still love to ride and hope I get the opportunity again in the future. Don't think I would label myself a biker chic, but I can play the part when I want. My idea of fun simply involves people. I can do the bar (although I don't much), the backyard barbeque with the family (yours, mine or both) or a group of friends, the trip to the lake, or the fancy party. Just give me enough time to figure what is appropriate to wear (or cook if applicable)! A few things I enjoy doing are cooking, watching sports, quilting, riding motorcyles and horses, traveling and playing poker. I am born and bred Sooner, but sure am proud of those Pokes this year! Oh, and of course, Thunder up! My Ipod has a variety of music but I guess I would say that Country and Contemporary Christian are my favs. I am hoping to meet a man who can appreciate the "tomboy" in me and still treat me like a princess. I don't neccessarily mean financially... I make my own money. I am crazy into to music. My taste is very, very varied, I like anything that is good, well at least what I think is good, and really what else matters ;) This automatically eliminates 99.9% of pop, the .1% is made up by Bon Jovi, I think it's his long frosted feathered locks, they're hypnotic. I could probably fill up ten pages of my fav bands but to keep it short;I spent my "youth" chasing my creative dreams. I used to be very active in the poetry slam scene in DC. While writing is still a passion of mine, as well as devouring books. Now, I actually own a dog training company. I spend most of my days at the dog parks and hiking trails, if not getting roughed up by someone else's Rottweiler. I really don't have a specific type. Its people's differences that make them interesting. So, to limit myself by saying I am only looking for this certain type of person, is rather self defeating. However, basic things that are automatic turn offs are; not having direction, or not having a sense of self, machismo, and being disrespectful to others who are different than you.For the most part, I am a pretty laid back, open minded person who likes to be challenged and always speaks their mind.
